IMO it is an absolute disgrace if he stays tonight and if he does stay and if he had anything about him he would say to the Judges I want to leave as I don't want to stay in if someone that is at least 10 times better than me goes. The three Judges that give him special treatment week after week need to have a good look at themselves in the Mirror especially Len who made himself look like an idiot tonight giving him an 8.
Ed is great, he is improving and the lifts tonight were really good. I loved him tonight and I hope he stays, Katya has been amazing and they have a lovely partnership

How can you be so bitter towards someone who many are really enjoying. Why should he go just to bow to the minority who are blinkered to what is entertaining the mass on a Saturday night
Each week he has been bottom of the leader board so how is that giving him special treatment. It is an entertainment dance show not an international dancing competition. I think it is the whingers who need to look in the mirror

No he shouldn't, he is getting the votes from the public and he's improving and enjoying himself, I hope he stays tonight and goes to Blackpool. Ed has every right to still be there, it's an entertainment show, a bit of fun and that what Ed brings.

He is dancing, he trains like the rest of them and I don't see why he should drop out of the competition because some are '10x' better than him. This is a celebrity dance show it's not normal people competiting in a dance show who want to become professional dancers, it's fun and a experience for them.

a) slap in the face to Katya who has worked just as hard as the other pros
b) slap in the face to the public who have spent money putting him through
No one should feel they have to forfeit just because they are less good than others who had a clear advantage in the first place. There's no handicapping other than where judges end up placing you on the board so if he is popular and outdoes those odds then he deserves his place.
I don't understand why people are claiming it's unfair Ed's still in competition. Strictly is an entertainment show. There's no big prize at the end for the winning celebrity. Of course people want to see quality dancing but Ed's dance journey is inspirational to many and the show wouldn't be as entertaining without him

If I said Mr Balls was the greatest thing since Sliced Bread would that win me respect. Well no thanks I have my opinion and I will post it I have no problem with people who want him to win but IMO he is Miles behind the rest and that is just my opinion.
Mr Spratt was really sneering at the idea of Ed Balls being in Strictly and said he'd be out n the first week.
He's really enjoying seeing his and Katya's dances now - in fact he started joining in the salsa tonight without meaning to. (He'd just brought a cup of tea in for me and started dancing along instead of sitting down.)
I was really fed up with the judges tonight failing to comment on his *dancing*. They seem to have had their script worked out weeks ago - "Oh, Ed is a laugh, we'll not forget that in a hurry' - but they're not responding to what they're seeing.
I found no entertainment at all in watching Ann Widdecombe being hoiked around like a piece of luggage, but Ed is really entertaining me.
