The public love him...and considering he could not dance at all...he is most probably the one who has made the most progress.

Sorry i was brought up to think you do not speak badly of people

Greg and Judge Rinder are not that much better though.

I would have been sad if he'd left before we'd had a chance to see him jive.

I'm pretty sure most of us do appreciate that.

Yes, people are entitled to dislike him being there but equally you'd think that people would realise after 14 series that Strictly isn't a dance show, it's a popularity contest. Ed is popular because he's fun in what can become a sea of seriousness at times. He's also got genuine ability and can dance, he's gone from being a dad dancer to being decent and, most importantly, he's out there at the age of 50 and showing that anyone can have a good go at dancing. That's why people are voting for him.

exactly the public are keeping him in and rightly so . I can see him staying again next week - the GBP were robbed when john sergeant walked cos he thought he might win it - i reckon Ed just might be the one who wins on the public vote - stranger things have happened

GO ED

Personally I'm waiting to see him do an Argentine Tango - Reason being that this is the one dance Strictly takes serious (because they know how popular AT's are with the public) so it will be impossible for them to give him a "gimmick" to diguise the fact he can't dance.

It will simply be Ed and Katya on the dance floor, not dancing. That might be our best chance of getting him out.

Yes, I think he was sailing two ships at once, unfortunately they collided.

i don't blame him for signing up for two shows (SCD & a Cruise ship) but he reckoned without the GBP loving him!

You've either missed my point entirely or you seem to be advocating that different opinions aren't allowed, which I find astonishing. I'm not talking about whether in giving an opinion someone was rude or not - that's for each individual to decide whether a particular post crossed the line of rudeness in their own personal opinion.

But to say that someone can't express dislike or a negative view about someone is nonsense, and highly dangerous. Like it or not, some people don't like particular contestants, and if they want to say so, that's their prerogative. You don't have to like it, and you can say you find it objectionable, but you have no right to stop it.

by the sound of his Jive I think the answer to your question will be no, I can see it been epic and therefore the public will vote to save him again

My ideal result would be Danny for the win and Ed coming 2nd, although for sheer entertainment value I would hand him the glitter ball

Yep, he thought he'd be out in the first 2-3 weeks (which he should have been to be fair) not go on so long that it would clash with his Winter cruise!
