- The 10 celebrities met for the first time at a luxury villa on the Gold Coast
- They were split into two teams – City Celebs and Jungle Celebs and told they automatically faced a Bushtucker Trial
- Ant & Dec threw the celebrities a lifeline to get out of the Bushtucker Trial - each celebrity had to pick someone from the opposite team who they thought could successfully compete a ‘Saviours Challenge’ on their behalf to potentially save them from the Bushtucker Trial
- The City Celebs took part in ‘Walk the Plank’ - a challenge 334 feet high on a rooftop
- The Jungle Celebs took part in either a Skydive or Canoe ‘saviours challenge’
- A stormy first day in camp
