Salad.

Every forkful requires careful construction of a miniature version of your salad otherwise you're just eating a leaf.

Oven baked potatoes. All that electricity consumed for something that is really just a snack. Some people seem willing to put the oven on for just a single one; I'd never do it unless I was baking at least ten of them.
They're not suited to modern cookers that you switch on and off.

I have a coal-fired rayburn which does the cooking and the domestic hot water.
In a context like that (as with kitchen ranges of old) baked potatoes are ideal because you just shove them in and forget about them for a couple of hours.
The oven is never cold.

Lasagne. Too much faffing about.

As to peeling tomatoes: just pour boiling water over the tomatoes, leave for 60 seconds then plunge into cold water. The skins just slide off.

For me, fresh mango.

I love mango, but cutting one up, removing the stone and then cubing the flesh is such a faff, messy, and you end up with hardly any. I'd rather just buy it pre-prepared even if it is more expensive!
You can get a mango-slicer contraption which basically cleaves the mango into two 'cheeks' either side of the stone, which you can then eat the flesh from with a spoon

They bear a passing resemblance to female downstairs anatomy, but I can overlook that.

Another vote for getting meat from a crab. OH sits there all evening doing it with a little crab hammer! Can't be bothered myself, rather buy a tin of dressed crab.

I once made homemade veggie burgers and they were amazing!

However they took the best part of 3 hours to make, it was just too much effort!

I agree with lasagne.

And some things which I have never made which look like too much trouble, like steak and kidney pudding, many pies and pastries actually.

But anything is ok if you enjoy the process. I like making a Sunday roast so that makes it worthwhile. Baking I find more of a chore so I seldom do it.

Can't believe people have said Lasagne, thats one of my easy dishes haha.

Though I do just use jars of Dolmio.

I'm thinking I eat too much takeaway so tried one of my fav dishes homemade. Crispy shredded chicken in chilli sauce. Lets just say never again!

Yes, but they were amazing!! 👍
And next time you'll be quicker.

Next time you order a veggie burger when you're out you'll definitely think "Not as good as mine though!" 😜

In the old days it was called a knife.
