Had Will & Karen not left, how far would they have gone?

Just out of curiosity

I think they'd still be there now but I think they'd have been a surprise addition to the dance off instead of Daisy or Ore in the past two weeks.

Would have seen them going in the next couple of weeks (assuming Will was as popular as I think). Decent but not particularly memorable and no risk of troubling the top 4 dancers in my opinion.

I don't think Will is that popular really, however, I think he would've had quite a few 'dedicated' fans who would've seen him through a lot of weeks - probably as far as Blackpool.

I think he would have been gone by now. He had no real "storyline" or role in the Strictly cast;

Danny and Ore are the excellent dancers
Rinder is lovable camp
Greg & Ed are the novices on a journey

For what its worth, I think Will realised this pretty early doors and maybe that influenced the quit decision. Just my opinion

I doubt he would have made it to this stage, I didnt think he was that good tbh

Assuming it wasn't anxiety that made him quit, then I think he'd still be in the show. He did three respectable dances, and when he left Darcey remarked that it was such a shame because he'd have made it to the Final in all probability.

He has a massive fan base in the music industry, is well known to the viewers ( as opposed to some on the show ) and would have had the vote of the gay community every time. I think Greg or Ore wouldn't have stood a chance if Will was still competing, being the poorer dancers they are.

At the very least he'd have made it to Blackpool. I don't know if Karen would have had the technical ballroom knowledge to produce outstanding routines and take him all the way though. Shades of Peter Andre, I imagine.

He didn't leave an impression on me... I thought all of the dances he did were overhyped and didn't live up to expectation. I think he would be in the Greg, Daisy, Laura group. Not the stand out performers, but not the bottom either.

We'll never know.

Ore a poorer dancer? On what planet?

I think his prickly character and fragile ego would have continued to show through the veneer and would not have won him any new fans.
He'd have either already gone or be close to going by now. Definitely not s contender

He would be a shoe in for the final with view votes alone

He'd definitely still be there. He was a good dancer with room for improvement. A pity he went because I think he would've been a potential finalist and one of the weaker dancers would already have gone.

I think Len was definitely going to have it in for Will, he would not have lasted that long, he would have gone by now.

He wasn't all that good and. I'm not sure if he had the public support.

He could've ended in a dance off with someone better.

He discovered he could not abide criticism any more. He thought he was doing something unique in not shoes with heels and when the judges didn't smile on him, took his toys away.
No real loss.

I think it's a shoo-in actually.

I feel he'd still be there. He's had some dance training before and threw himself into the style of everything he was given. Personally I loved his tango and his salsa. He seems an interesting guy to me; engaging. No idea who would have suffered for his presence. Maybe we'd have lost another of the middle or low ranking men contestants by now...

Hope he's doing OK with whatever it was that made him suddenly leave.

Will is probably the closest I've come to supporting a ringer

They would have won.

Will has a massive fan base. I'm glad he quit, I don't particularly like him and it would've been as boring as last year, just waiting for him to pick up the trophy.

I'm not entirely sure they would have gotten really far, everyone was talking about the huge fanbase Anastacia was likely to have pre show and she was bottom two on a few occasions.

Maybe to Blackpool but wouldn't have been the final 4 imo.

Pretty sure he would still be in and I would have expected him to reach the final. I enjoyed the dances he did and liked his character so would most likely have voted for him.

From what I saw Ore is definately a better dancer than Will and Greg possibly is. Both did much better jives than Will did.

I think he might have been another Peter Andre in terms of ablity although a lot more likeable.

Well it's all in the eye of the beholder. Will did a much better Tango than Ore and Greg, and in week one as well. But then anyone dances better than Greg it's got to be said, even Ed Balls.

Like you said eye of the beholder. I disagree - with the last sentence I would say respectfully but nah I can't claim that. I know Greg isn't the greatest but worst that Ed really? Less entertaining maybe but worse doesn't imply that.

I'd say Will's tango was better performed than Ore and Greg's but then Will is a performer. I was actually disapointed and I thought his performance skills masked a lack of technique. Funnily enough I liked the bollysamba but felt he left not because he was critised but because he was crit'ed for something that wasn't his fault. What he asked to perform he did tell that it was what Len wanted him to perform was an issue that Len had the producers and possibly Karen but he shouldn't have laid into Will for it.

I would have liked to have seen a bit more of him - but from what we did see I'm not seeing this dancing genius of sooo much better than everyone else and would have made the final for sure and I certainly don't see a better dancer than Ore. Then again we had little chance to see what he could do.
