He'd have either already gone or be close to going by now. Definitely not s contender”

Will has a solid fan base but I agree I don't think he'd have picked many more up. In fact he'd likely have turned casual fans off. Must admit I liked Will in Pop Idol and bought a couple of his albums but wasn't enamoured by his attitude on this. I think best all round he left when he did. Potentially he'd have done more harm than good to his profile. Having said that he now carries the unreliable tag in the industry.

Not very far, another week before he threw teddy out of the cot.

I would guess he would have finished 5th or 6th. Depends how, y'know, well he danced.

I think it's difficult to say. Mainly because if he hadn't left, that would tend to indicate that his attitude/mental state was different to how it actually was which, to me at least, would also mean that his performances would probably have been different.

He has a very solid fanbase and had he been willing/capable of lasting the series, then his dancing "journey" might have taken a very different path than the one it was looking like taking.

We'll never know but I also think speculation is pointless without knowing the real reason for his departure. It's also probably completely irrelevant but then when has that ever stopped us?

If the problem that made him leave hadn't been an issue I think he would have gone further, he was good (if not great) and had a fanbase. He might have ended up winning as a lot of people seem unsatisfied with Danny (too experienced), Louise (too dull), Ore (too emotional), he might have been the one who came out of nowhere to win it. But he has performance experience too and some people find him annoying so he might only have lasted a few more weeks. He's also someone you might expect to have a big fanbase so some of his fans might have saved their votes for other people who seemed to need them more.

If it's true about the anxiety/stress and he'd decided to stay in despite this I think it would probably have held him back just as a physical illness or injury would have done but I think he'd probably have got through a few more weeks unless there had been more incidents like the one with Len. If Will is unwell and he stays he's got a decision to make, if he keeps quiet about it then he might have little moments that might count against him because no-one knows he's ill. If he says 'I'm suffering from anxiety but carrying on' he would probably be labelled an an attention seeker.
