Nope, that distinction goes to Saara. Look her up on You Tube.

But her Anything Could Happen was dreadful, she could do the high ooh-ooh-oohs alright and that's it, everything else was shaky and her voice didn't carry.

No, she most definitely is not. She has been unimpressive and boring throughout the lives.

Yeah Sarah you're right she can do up tempo but sadly her voice can't!
But you are indeed correct she has not been in the bottom 3 before but I'll be surprised if she escapes tonight - last nights performance was nothing short of a horror show!

It's not about big voices sure. But I don't feel like her artistry is very well developed either (but she is extremely young, so not to be blamed). Aiden Grimshaw had a more unique voice and identity on the show, as did Little Mix, Diana Vickers, Cher Lloyd,Laura White or even Olly Murs. I hope she improves and does well and I'm really happy that you're so passionate for her but she doesn't do it for me.

No, she is not good. Average at singing and not a lot of stage presence. You can't call her an artist really, she isn't writing her own songs or even arranging the covers she sings. Saara wipes the floor with her, and she would be obliterated by say Fleur East or Leona Lewis at the same stage in the competition.

Easily the most talented. She can tie her own shoelaces and everything.

Neither has Honey G.

Perhaps she can't, she keeps performing barefoot!

She does write her own songs. Several can be found from a basic search on YouTube.

Fleur East was a haircut, an inspired song choice, a truckload of pimping and a thimbleful of substance. Citing her in this context is simply bizarre.

Emily doesn't have power or the range like most "spectacular" singers.
Her voice is often weak, requiring volume to be turned up past '11'.
I find her voice to sound very childish, like Fievel in an American Tale. Maybe it will mature as she gets older, but I've not been spellbound by anything she's done.
Creep was her best performance, but it wasn't strong enough or unique enough to be anything memorable.

Comparing the performance of a previous XF contestant on a post about XF contestant performances is bizarre?

I have no desire to look up Emily's songs on Youtube. I've seen enough of her weak voice on X Factor already.

Fleur had worked hard for at least 10 years in the industry prior to the X Factor, she released a number of solo songs and even was on DJ Fresh's third album. I think she actually toured with him and did V Festival plus loads more, to simply say she was just a haircut is pathetic.

She has a nice tone to her voice, but she needs coaching.

It was all very bad this week, she just does not have the power for some arrangements and her voice is exposed when that happens.

But Janet Devlin did this much better, apart from forgetting the words to mm bop.

BIB - She has now. To answer your O.P. - no, she is nowhere near the most talented contestant ever.

When the former contestant in question is one of the weakest acts ever to make the live shows, yes.

I'm sure you don't. Blissful ignorance suits most.

Ten years on and still that poor, huh? Do you find that pancake-flat performance entertaining?

Wow so full of hate and angry. I laugh so much at these forums because it's like people are literally smashing their keyboards as they type. I hope people have other things going on in their lives to keep them happy but keep it up, it's hilarious.

I think that Emily is pretty average, both Leona and Alexandra were way better singers, especially Leona, plus Joe MacEnnery and even Laura White were better singers too!

Yes Creep has definitely been Emily's best song and I think she is more of a Diane Vickers singer myself, no bad but definitely not the best!

Creep was excellent but I don't think she's lived up to that since.
But she has talent and is the kind of artist that could be developed into a recording artist - especially if she writes her own songs - if they are good ...

Im not sure why you think anyone would be 'angry' simply because you've got a soft spot for a former contestant who wasn't very good.

Can't believe she stayed tonight. Out of the 3 of them she is definitely the weakest. Really thought she'd go this week.

Personally I like her. I think she has a lot of potential but we're really not seeing that and we can only judge what we see on the show.
