Apparently Amanda Byram is the host acting in the Tess role and maybe Nicky Byrne as the Claudia http://www.thesun.ie/irishsol/homepa...The-Stars.html

Thanks for the link, Andy I would have preferred Vogue to Amanda, not a fan.

I prefer Amanda Vogue doesn't really doesn't have much experience with live TV and I think she comes across a bit dim sometimes

It would be nice to be able to watch the Irish show, it will replace the Voice Ireland in the schedules and there will undoubtedly be some stars that we'll know and maybe some pro dancers. It was rumoured that Robin Windsor will appear.

Wouldn't it be great to enjoy a couple of winter months in January and February watching the show ?
Hope we do get to see it.

This is the link I was given, you have to register. It starts on January 8th, and I see applications are now closed for the first night. I know I am in the draw for that night though as I have an email confirming the application, hope I am successful

Tristan was asked about the Irish DWTS a couple days ago:

Q: A lot of people have asked us about Dancing with the Stars Ireland. Have you been approached about being involved or do you know anything about the structure and similarities/differences to DWTS US and SCD? Would you like to be involved in some way?

Tristan: Yeah, it’s good that they are finally doing one in Ireland. I was surprised when it was announced as I hadn't heard anything about it until I got messages from Ireland asking about it, and I had been contacted about it later on to be involved but again I have a job that I enjoy here that I had committed to. It would mean leaving that and moving my family again for three months or whatever it is. It’s been a long time since we could actually get settled somewhere, and I absolutely love Sydney. I always wanted to be a part of a show in Ireland but everything has to be right for all parties to make that work. I think the show will do very well, and I'm glad it’s happening and I'm glad it’s giving Irish professionals a platform to show our talent. It really is about time, so I’ll be happy to help out which they know but not in a full time capacity at this stage for that amount of time.

Did Neil jump the gun???. I haven't seen any official statement about the line up from
DWTS Ireland.

He mentioned that they had won all five dances, so must be really good and sure to join Strictly in the near future.
they are amazing dancers, toured with Brendan at the beginning of this year - Ksenia is a little fire cracker - sad they wont be touring with Brendan next year but they will be amazing pros for the show

It has just been announced on Irish radio that Nicky Byrne and Amanda Byram will be the presenters of the show.

Looks like Lilia is involved too

Lilia seems to be involved, as per my post above.

Some speculation here about dancers who were on Brendan's last tour

I can't see ITV going for that when they have their own dance show coming up. Maybe Channel 5?

Good morning, Deise True. May be 5?? Channel 4 won't have any money left after
paying so much for GBBO.

I think it will just be comedian Des Bishop who is confirmed.
