So the con was to get 15k out of loads of people for deposits on non existent flats, take their fake ID and do one into the sunset.

... The deposits have been paid, the passports completed weeks ago, why are they still around? It wouldn't take a genius to realise that one walk down to the 'building site' would show nowt occurring and the game would be up. It's inconceivable that a would be resident hasn't even driven past!

Are we to believe that due to the whole dodgy ear storyline that King Phelan has fallen for the mystic charms of Eileen and loves her for real? And that he can't leave her two up two down, for the shores of Hawaii would be barren without her?!

I would imagine the plan now involve Phelan getting revenge on ex-cat-burglar turned card sharp Michael for taking a few quid off him at poker you can see it coming a mile off.

Deffo worth risking a quarter million con on, then, Michael didn't even take the cash off him in the end!
I think Michael will be the one who exposes him but he ends up having a heart attack and dying on his vow renewal day.

People are complaining about the Caz/Maria storyline being far fetched & full of plot holes but this one went off into fantasy land weeks ago!!

As the OP says would none of the people these two wastes of space are meant to be fleecing have wanted to know by now at least where their flat was going to be built & taken a toddle on down there to see what progress was being made, not to mention the fact that 'Councillor Metcalfe' was involved in the whole planning process, surely she would know where it was supposed to be happening & would have been very interested in progress & in making sure her electorate were not being fleeced!!
Bonkers s/l imo which should have ended months ago!!

People complain that the SOR thread is harsh, but really it's the only realistic thing about CS now. It's certainly the only thing worth watching!!
