Is it correct that Joanne and Karen yelled "undermarked" about Kevin? Or something similar? I didn't see it - did anyone else?

Perhaps they thought so but doubt if anyone else thought they were undermarked. If anything I think they were over marked. Don't get me wrong, Louise is a thoroughly nice lady but I just find her very very boring. I can't watch those two. So sorry.

I think it wasn't just Karen and Joe that was saying, and there were two more on my sofa.

Very poor marking bye the judges.

They did. And then Claudia reiterated they were saying it just in case anybody missed it. Claudia's woody for Kevin is visible from space.

No they weren't unprofessional. Jo and Karen are supportive of everyone.

I was happy with Louise's marks (not a fan of too many tens before the end of the series, there's always room for improvement) but she was undermarked compared to Danny and should have topped the leaderboard.

Hard to compare an AT and AS but in terms of the technique and character of the particular dance Louise achieved more.

Watching it it's definitely just Karen and Joanne who start it and then Daisy joins in. Maybe Ore as well, there's definitely a man's voice in there.

I have no animus with the Cliftons but that sort of thing doesn't come across well. It's all very well when you're shouting undermarked as a collective when Ed Balls gets mid 20s for a quickstep, but being more or less the only ones doing it, for a family member, for a dance that got a very high score, looks a little cliquey.

I remember their faces when Jay won last year. The cameras caught their sour looks because Kevin hadn't won. I suppose, however, that we would be the same if it was our family.

Maybe they feel Louise needs a morale boost and know her better through their connection with Kevin? That said, it never gets a good reaction when they do that and tends to backfire on the celeb they are trying to support because it does look a bit cliquey and seems a bit hard on other celebs. Perhaps they know this and Joanne is trying to undermine Kevin and Louise in a deviously cunning manner?

(I am kidding, btw).

The pros always shout out that couples are undermarked- Brendan in particular does it often and no one cares. But hey, let's have another Clifton bashing thread instead.

I actually thought it was over marked; strong facial expressions, for me, don't count for high marks.

yes Brendan and Aljaz do it a lot and nothing is said - then again if jo and co are seen more than once in the Claudatorium they are hogging the screen too

But, as Monkseal pointed out, there's a huge difference yelling 'undermarked' in support of a beginner getting into the mid 20s and one of the frontrunners picking up 37. Under marked? There were only three more marks available!

Brendan may say it some of the other pros may say it but not as IN YOUR FACE as the twosome did last night

a couple of others may have said it as well last night but they did not prolong their voices and were not bang in the middle of Claud and Kevin& louise in full view of the camera, they just kept on chanting even as Claudia was trying to speak

It reminded me of my daughters competitions when the kids got up and shouted for their mates

very unprofessional

Joanne should focus on winning the show with Ore instead of what marks Kevin gets.

So, it's ok when other pros do it, to anyone but the Cliftons, but when the Cliftons do it, it's unprofessional?!

I know. It's so strange to see the forum lambasting her for generosity to a competitor

Sorry but last night they were hogging the screen

full view right in the middle of the camera view of Claudia and Kevin & Louise smack in the middle of my screen
