At a couple who have just scored 37 out of 40? Yes!

I don't like anyone shouting out anything negative, whoever it is. Be nice people. It brings an aggressive, nasty tone - I hate the booing for judges' comments too. It also shows a lack of respect for other peoples' opinions - mob rules doesn't work for me.

Having said that, can't see the need to single out the Cliftons AGAIN. Karen has been out of the show for weeks, Jo and Kevin have clearly understood they can irritate people and are practically invisible and keeping a low profile as far as I can see. Jo is constantly trying to 'calm' Ore down and put things in a positive way. As many have said, Kevin is completely different with Louise than with Kellie last year. I really disliked their partnership last year but find him totally inoffensive this year.

If there's any unprofessional behaviour going on, it's encouraged by the Producers and this certainly wasn't the only incident.

They are both very extroverted and attention seeking. As are other pros also. Several of them in the background can often be seen trying to get camera time when Claudia is doing her bit, it makes me cringe and feel like it also takes away from the celeb dancer being interviewed's moment.

Brendan, Anton and Aljaž are serial offenders*

*forum-speak for someone willing an opponent to do well. One of the loveliest things about SCD is the family spirit and the support they all -- pros and contestants -- give to each other.

When Jo and Ore got the first tens, the whole Clauditorium erupted with joy. Jo's lucky they were her tens because woe betide her if she had been spotted 'hogging' the joy at someone else's success

Serial offenders towards couples who are developing and barely hit 30; not couples who are only three marks off a perfect score.

True, it could be applied to the week before as well.

When the judges were marking and Louise and Kevin were standing with Claudia, Karen and Joanne were jumping up and down with their fists by their faces chanting 'undermarked' directly behind them.

I know.
Just to really annoy the Clifton bashers lets have Ore and Joanne opening the show each week with Louise and Kevin closing the show each week.
Furthermore lets have them getting 40/40 for every dance they do with an elimination exemption for both couples to ensure they get to the final.
Give them all the best music and extra long 6 hour VTs before every routine. During the Clauditorium section for other couples make sure that the camera is not on those other couples but on Kevin and Joanne with a healthy dollop of Louise and Ore to boot. Then declare both couples as joint winners. Then give Kevin a Knighthood, Joanne a Damehood and all the clearly biased judges the freedom of Elstree.
I'll get my coat .

This. Very odd behaviour on that level. Karen at least is out of the competition already.

They also shouted 'ten' for Kevin in last year's final which was unprofessional.

i don't think so, its just a light entertainment show, they are all enjoying themselves.

ETA - except anton. everything he does is extremely annoying and unprofessional and the sooner he is fired the better.

Brendan and Natalie have screamed undermarked for years. Aljaz does, Tristen would. But no it's a Clifton it's unprofessional. God forbid Joanne can support other people while she's still in the competition. It's just a way of supporting the celebrities. Strictly is a support system and it's nice that everyone wills everyone on. It doesn't have to be spray tans at dawn.

I didn't enjoy seeing/hearing it.
When Brendan + others have done similar it's usually just said once, not repeated, 3 times (I think but happy to be corrected). And it's not usually at a score that's already so high.
I'd enjoyed Louise's performance for the 1st time last night, (didn't get the so called passion from their AT) but it did taint their routine for me last night.
I'd always expect family to support family but a little more decorum please girls.
Say what you feel in private, all you did was make me not vote for them, sorry

"Unprofessionally?"

On a telly programme that's not much more than an enjoyable pantomime?

Really?

Indeed. The pros have been doing this for years in the Claudatorium and before that in the Tess Pit. Not unprofessional just another aspect to the Pantomime angle to the show.

How is it any different from everyone in the Clauditorium shouting "10" or booing at scores? Crikey, people love to have a pop.

Mean, considering she didn't get a chance to compete properly and leave the usual way.

I'm concerned that people aren't reading the thread before posting - there is a difference to people crying out 'undermarked' at a beginner scoring anything from below 20 to just under 30 (which is what the likes of Brendan, Aljaz, Tristan etc. did and do) and yelling it after a very accomoplished dancer has scored just three off a perfect score. Especially when only two are crying out and they are related, whether by marriage or birth, to one of the members of the couple.

THAT'S what some people are questioning rather than 'undermarked' being shouted overall.

Summed it up perfectly! Brendan is the loudest of them all yet no one bats an eyelid?

I've read the thread but it doesn't really say you have to guage context to respond to it either, and even then I don't think it's something that needs to be ignored in the same vein. And that's not true either. Brendan, for example, would say "Undermarked" For Kara, Natalie, Abbey, Mark Wright etc. etc. getting near perfect marks.
