a) Bump the thread, and
b) make it more obvious, because people might not necessarily have picked up on the significance of what the poster had said.
All you have to do is click on the red 'alert' icon, and type something like 'contains spoiler' and it will be gone sooner rather than later.

To those that don't wish to know the result of course it matter and it's really bloody easy to avoid the spoiler if you want to AND have a life.
