Honey G brags about being "Hardcore" after previously taking class A drugs and gets a standing ovation at her next performance. Rewind 5 years to 2011 and after admitting to having taken drugs Frankie Cocozza doesn't get a "next performance" after he is kicked off the show.

In 2016 Emily and Sam face criticism for turning everything into a slow dreary tempo but rewind to 2012 when Ella Henderson did the same it was hailed as world class every week.

2011 Janet Devlin was belittled for forgetting her lyrics but when Tamera did 2 years later she was praised for only being 16 and her ability to carry on...Janet was also only 16.

I could go on and on but you get the idea....

Please understand I'm not saying bragging about drug use should go unpunished. Or that people should only do ballads or that it's okay to forget your lyrics. The point is just how blatant and obvious these contradictions are.

It's insulting to the acts on the wrong side of it and insulting to views.

I don't particularly care what their stances are as long as they are consistent and don't just constantly pick and choose their favourites to protect

Ella signed to Syco.
Tamera signed to Syco.
Honey G...?

There seems to be a predetermined pattern.

It's getting more and more ridiculous each series that they're doing as fans of Janet, Emily, Sam, and Frankie will remember how they was treated and will remember how the pets that did the same things got treated and they'll tune out in anger.

The show should always be as fair as possible with it's critique, even if it's unprofessional like this week, it still looks more consistent and the public will be less angry and will stick around and watch the show, rather than feeling like their favourite is being singled out.

Frankie did drugs while a contestant on the live shows which broke a golden rule. Honey did them before the live shows, like Rachel Hylton who did not get kicked off either. It's two different situations.
