Lovely show tonight reflecting Remembrance Sunday. Just the right mix of remembrance and entertainment.

I thought the couple featured were charming.
70 years wed.
Won't get that long out of my old man, unless I have him embalmed.

Like she always does -overdressed.

Tess is a truly beautiful woman who I think looks even better now than when she was younger BUT she rarely dresses well. She is at her best in beautifully cut straight shifts, but she can never resist a cape or a frill or one shoulder missing. Her posture is also dreadful which can make her look short -waisted which she isn't.

Isn't she just promoting the dresses of certain designers?
I read somewhere that they aren't provided by either herself or the BBC.
In which case she should be more choosy.

Broke my heart watching the big group dance

lost dad last year and mam this year and their story was very similar plus it was one of their favorite songs

I didnt cry when dad died as I was too busy looking after mam who had dementia and I didnt cry when mam died because I didnt know whether to be sad or be relived that her struggle was over

but tonight I cried and cried more so when the couple appeared

It was carthartic

I didnt watch the rest as I was a mess

Sometimes life deals us an unexpected surprise. Things happen when least imagined which turn out to be exactly what we needed. In your case the group dance was the trigger that you needed to unleash the pent up grief. You needed that good sob.

Take care, and look after yourself won't you.
