It feels as if Cowell has thrown in the towel and knows people don't care anymore for the same old bland singers. Normally I'd say my son, my son is voting for her but not this week. He was too late but he did treat us to a disturbing little victory dance when she got through.
I dunno what the fuss is about. She hasn't brought the show to its knees - it was never very credible anyway. She's a daft, contrived novelty entertainment act on a daft, contrived novelty entertainment show. You can be for her or agin but it's all just chewing gum for the eyes. I could be wrong but I think she's in on the joke and is well aware it'll be over soon enough. I'm sure she was as surprised as a lot of us were when she got past the first audition.
i use all my app votes on her. nobody will have a big career after the show this year and i want to vote for the one who i enjoy watching the most.

The problem with Honey G is she's representing a genre that doesn't get represented very often on The X Factor, so it would've been nice to have had a serious one on rather than a joke act which imo should be one of the Pop acts considering they are most of the lineup anyway so they can afford to have one joke act in their midst.

This logic makes no sense. Multiple voting can be used for any of the acts, it's not like only Honey G supporters can vote 5 or 10 times, so why do you think it's skewed towards her? I've seen this so much this year - any voting decision that people here don't like this is blamed on the app/multiple vote.

I do think that it would be good to have a wider variety of acts represented in the competition, but I suspect the problem with rap in particular is that anyone who has that skill and is serious about a career in it knows that the X Factor is not a sensible place to try and get that career off the ground. So there probably aren't a lot of rap artists auditioning, and that isn't even taking into account the weird obsession the producers have with going for the most generic acts they can find (other than the "joke" acts).

Honey G will win this. She's become as bullet proof as Trump. Even the drug story, which was probably half phoney anyway, had no effect on her.

She'll get a few TV gigs out of it, probably Celebrity Juice and CBB whether it be a housemate or SOTS panellist or dare I say it guest performer

Agreed.
Also the humour is kinda dead if all of the judges are making out that she's great, I mean don't forget Jeref that even Simon said that Honey G was better than his own category as he gives them some mild criticism, yet he won't say anything to Honey G.
Joke acts need the judges to criticise them for being horrendous, it's apart of their appeal, not someone saying H to the O to the N to he E to the Y to the G it's Honey G! and then get praised from the judges for doing that each week.
