Wrong couples in this weeks dance off
I was shocked to see Daisy and Aljaž and Greg and Natalie in the dance off tonight. Imo neither belonged there at all and was sorry to see Daisy go.
Ed and the Judge should have been the dance off pair and i can only think Ed is being kept in for the 'fun factor'. |

Judge? Hes been improving a lot, and IMO is far more entertaining than Daisy. Greg and Ed, yes, but not Judge.

Just a good year for dancers, whoever was due to go would have been pretty entertaining. Greg's basque didn't help more suited to Frankenfurter in Rocky Horror then Paso. But loved that dance. However, Ed as much as I'm not keen on a politician has worked hard and delivered a Strictly Historical performance with the David Brent side shuffle in Gangnam Style. BTW the lifts he did were amazing. Loved Daisy but hated the music to their Salsa.

I agree Daisy shouldn't have been there if we're judging on overall dance ability, but her dance this week wasn't great. I have no objection to Greg being in the dance-off, he's the second weakest dancer left.
The dance-off should have been Ed and Greg, but I don't think anyone thought that would actually happen. |

I find both Judge Rinder and Ed more entertaining than Greg and feel they've improved more than him too.
The only gripe I'd have from this week would be sending Daisy home over Greg when she was clearly the better dancer. |

Greg is the worst celeb remaining and it was fitting he be in the DO. He should have gone as well.

I would have been happy with an Ed/Greg, Ed/Daisy or Ed/Judge dance off.
Basically anyone and Ed would be fine at this point...

I don't think anyone like Ed should ever be winning Strictly and I was sad to see Daisy go, but I thought the dance showcased what he is to the show to perfection- and I thought he deserved to get to Blackpool.
At the other end of the scale I think Danny Mac is treading a fine line on being too good for the show. The only serious criticism of him was practically manufactured by that strange restrictive attachment a while back. Not much of a "journey" for him. |

Funny how people forget how many contestants there have been in the past who were really good in week 1 and only had maybe one or two bad weeks at most (and Danny has had one) - Alesha and Kara spring to mind but there are more besides. |

If Greg and Daisy had the fewest points after the judges' scores and viewer votes were combined, how can they be the wrong two in the DO?

The poster said "worst celeb remaining", which I presume means that at least Ed is a better performer than Greg! Plus in ballroom Ed is arguably better than Greg, or they're not far apart at least. And aside from this week all the rest of Greg's attempts at Latin have been nearly as bad as Ed's!
There's nothing in the rules that says a contestant has to have a journey! The public decides so nothing unfair or wrong about it.
But if it's on dancing I think that only Ed is a worse dancer than Greg. |

![]() I hate the fact that those producers have made him the comical act this series . I don't find him the least bit funny . Its a great shame that he's not allowed to dance free of stupid comic gimmicks . Rob has shaken off the comic tag and is now showing his true potential . |

![]() The most eye catching things that Greg does are all athletic movements while Nat adds all the subtlety and proper steps in their routines |

At the very least Ed is closing the gap considering he was spending sedentary days in the House of Commons when Greg was training for the Olympics.
