What was off about Daisy? She does well-mannered dances, she just does not have the pop of most people in her movement. She had the same characteristic in her other latin. She happened to go up against someone in the dance off who really did have dynamism, even with less talent.

Depends if you think the dance-off should be judged on that one performance alone or not. Most of the time it clearly isn't, and I would always advocate keeping the better dancer in. For me, Daisy was the better dancer overall, she just had a bad week and Greg had the best week he's ever had. The gulf in standard between them overall is clear, and in any other week Greg would have been the one to go I think, but Daisy just had an unfortunate dance this week.

Ed and the Judge should have been the dance off pair and i can only think Ed is being kept in for the 'fun factor'.”

OMG was their a mix up in counting the votes??? and remember the majority disagree with you

They were the least favourite couples when the judges and viewers voting was combined. Therefore the right couples were in the DO.

Listen really carefully - Tess invites you to vote for your favourite couple, not the best couple.

Daisy and Greg wasn't a surprise, Daisy has been struggling for votes and had a bad week, the salsa didn't suit her. Greg is one of the weakest and the votes had to run out some time.

In any other week I think Daisy would have gone through over Greg easily but he danced well and gave a very intense performance. Gutted for Daisy as she is the stronger dancer overall and she was loving it but the judges have to choose the best dance.

Ed was the worst dancer no question but gangnam style was always going to get him votes. He was on the bus to Blackpool before he'd even started learning the routine.

I was disappointed Daisy went and I thought she deserved to go to Blackpool moreso than Greg or Ed, she was a way better dancer than these two!

Shame on the judges for not putting Daisy through, most of the time Greg is really boring!

She's been one of the best dancers for me on a number of weeks - loved her QS, Charleston and VW!

The first half of her salsa was either badly choreographed or out of time and the movements were not pronounced enough. The lifts were impressive but unfortunately on the other end of the spectrum, Greg who is usually on par with Ed had his best week by a mile.

No i realised what was happening long ago as it's just a repeat of the John Sergeant saga, but he saw through the daftness and bowed out gracefully by withdrawing which deprived the idiot voters of their 'fun'.

Agree entirely. I'm no dance expert and certainly don't spot the technical parts people like Craig or Len will spot instantly, but Daisy's timing seemed good, she moves well and everything seemed in sequence, at least to me. She didn't deserve to go.

I would have put Greg and Ed bottom two, but, alas, poor Daisy, who again didn't dance the worst this weekend, ends up there. I partly wonder if some of the judges felt she had almost lost the fight in the dance off, because my initial thought would be that Daisy would win a dance of against Greg (on any dance because her dance ability is better overall, and ability to do technique better, greater).

I also thought, as it's Greg's first dance off and he was doing a Paso (which has a mood of passion and some degree of aggression) that his performance came across more as a powerful and meaningful performance than Daisy's more quiet performance which had less oomph. Of course the judges should still be able to judge the difference between a person's ability to dance versus someone else (regardless of the contrasting dances), but Daisy's dance, her number of showings in the bottom two and a less zesty performance factored in to the judges overall thinking (despite the d.o being t=jst that dance).

Agreed, he is very much like Natalie Gumede - started very good and had had little growth, to an extent where each dance comes across as a pro dance.

I agree - she has had the worst music in the competition. Sorry, Ed is entertaining and he is making some progress, but really think he should have been in the dance-off. Very sorry to lose Daisy who in previous weeks I think has been undermarked! I really wasn't keen on Ore's rumba either.

Ed deserves to stay in, clearly he has his limitations but those limitations he doesn't cheat and hide like some of the others.

The curse of moving so slowly a mistake is nigh impossible was there with Orebro, Rutherford and that awful judge they have on.

The judges have no bottle to call it anymore I highlighted Tonioli last week, now Horwood gives watered down criticism but only dare give Balls the low mark, if he performs like that then what is the point of him being there.

All in all without Balls they are a dull bunch this year so he has 2 or 3 weeks to go yet and the ones that will beat him it isn't really a fair contest, so he will be the real winner.

Lowe probably didn't help herself commenting on things I would expect she knows little about on social media but surely fossils Goodman should have sent Rutherford packing, by far the worst cupple in Daly speak left in the competition, again no bottle.

This is pure guessing, but I think Greg was putting in the hours and I'm not sure Daisy was doing the same. Daisy was definitely much better to watch, I do not like watching Greg dance it's pretty horrible, and I think obviously she has tons more potential. But was she putting in the sweat and toil, I'm not sure.

All the remaining celebs either have some potential or are working seriously hard.

I agree Odubo was pretty abysmal, he is the BBC boy this year though he comes over as a real creep in the Baker, Hollins mould. It will be nice to see the back of him but sadly he could be promoting his way onto the TV screens a lot more in coming years, that is the modern BBC way..

Did being in the dance off for the third time actually go against Daisy this time as the judges couldn't be seen to be constantly saving her?

The couples in the dance off are never the "wrong couples". They are the two couples who get the lowest combined scores of judges and viewers.

The couples in the dance of might not be the ones you would choose, but that doesn't make them the "wrong couples".
