Of course it is. She's a classic case in point. Traded in for a younger model on Countdown; yet the male presenter can be any age and look any which way. It's depressing. And that's the world she lives in and competes in. What's she supposed to do? Go home and take up knitting?

I never understood why she was axed from Loose Women however.

I thought I was looking at the woman from Corri who lives with Dev, she has that same puffed up look. I don't mind a bit of filler or Botox I had it to reduce the savage vertical frown line over my nose ... but why oh why do so many have to overdo it?
Having said that, I like her in it, I like them all so far and for once I know them all apart from the tall dark girl .

I like Carol and I remember when she first came to Countdown, she was mousy and quite plain looking. Then she suddenly realised she was not only clever but attractive too. I think she has gone over the top lately but I still like her.

I think she feels she needs to keep looking young to get work, maybe the jungle will change her, who knows.

I think she looked better brunette, don't think the blonde hair suits her. It's her choice though.

I like her a lot. She doesn't give a monkeys and does it all with good humour. She's had so much stick online. Whatever she's done with her face, it's her choice. Anyway it's not that bad. For instance no comparison between her and, say, Madonna and/or that Amy whatshername from TOWIE. So good luck to her.

I'm loving her so far. She's fiesty and gets stuck right in. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the chatting to the toad, although she could have been sitting there for hours and glad of the company when he turned up!

I think TPTB will be pushing for a Carol win and an awful lot of her in the jungle hut giving us her opinions

I really enjoyed her story of how she got the gig on 'Countdown'. Didn't realise she's not married, also really enjoyed the heart to heart between Larry and Wayne. Wayne is very sensitive, it's nice to see.

It really annoys me that women are not supposed to/allowed to criticise other women. If we do it is supposedly because we are jealous.

Well I am not the slightest bit jealous of Ms Vorderman. Yes she is smart and, as someone who is absolutely terrible at maths, I wish I could be a fraction as good. However I do not think she is beautiful. She used to be quite attractive but now just looks awful/ridiculous/plastic etc.

She has a pretty good figure although her boobs are too big in my view to have a perfect figure. Always wearing clothes that look 2 sizes to small however does not do her any favours.

I also think she comes across as somewhat false and totally up herself. I would never watch Loose Women when she was on it.

Not just women no. A couple of weeks back on the live SCD thread there were countless posts saying exactly that about the pro dancer Giovanni.

Bad vibes or whatever you want to call it can come from either sex, not everything is necessarily a gender issue.
