Danny Dyer is clever enough to know that airing controversial opinions = more publicity, which in turn = £££
Even if it is a joke, I can't imagine Steve McFadden and Adam Woodyatt would be happy about this. That's assuming this is even true. |

Wasn't Jake Wood accused of slating Hollyoaks at one time?

I imagine Steve will keep a dignified silence like he did during the Jessie Wallace fall out
That's assuming this is even true. The quotes could easily be taken out of context, he may be up himself at times, but most people who have met DD says he a nice bloke, always stopping for fans etc. |

http://www.dailystar.co.uk/showbiz-t...e-Krarup-soaps OMG have you seen this??? So disrespectful on so many levels and he should NOT be making comments about Steve McFadden and Adam Woodyatt!!! They are better actors than him and he needs to get off his high horse!!! Knowing what a WUM he is, I would imagine his comments were tongue in cheek. |

If EastEnders was on its arse when they hired King of Acting Danny Dyer to save it, what is it now? The viewing figures were higher before he joined than they are now.
Absolute pillock. I'd be interested to know how his comments could be put into any context that doesn't look like he's slagging off the show and its actors just so he can wank himself off publically. |

I honestly think Danny enjoys the attention he gets when he makes these controversial remarks. He loves being talked about, even when it's all negative and he's clearly in the wrong.
Actors like Steve McFadden and Adam Woodyatt may have achieved their success from one role but they've never been out of work. Dyer can't say the same. And claiming Emmerdale only beat EastEnders to win "Best Soap" because it's on ITV, is also stupid. EastEnders has won that award more times than it deserved to in the past, so there's a contradiction in there somewhere. |

He's commented about Benedict Cumberbatch before. He seems to have a chip on his shoulder about Cumberbatch's success. As for his comments about his EastEnders co-stars, if he really thinks he's the best actor in the cast then he's seriously deluded. I used to be a fan of Danny Dyer before he joined EastEnders. I thought he was just playing up to his image but over the past 3 years it's become obvious the man thinks he's a living legend.
This confirms to me there's at least some truth in this story. |

1) The interview would've been approved by the EastEnders Press Office. 2) It's promoting another BBC show (WDYTYA) and 3) It's in the at one time owned by and generally pro BBC Radio Times... nope can't think why anyone would keep an open mind.

Not sure, although James Sutton use to slag off EE saying it copied HO storylines!
![]() ![]() That was hilarious given the propensity Hollyoaks had for emulating EE storylines case in point Jim mcginns death which was a blatant reenactment of Denis Rickman's death |

Danny Dyer as Mick is a monotonous bore with one facial expression which makes him look permanently constipated.
Benedict Cumberbatch would quite easily act Danny Dyer off the screen without even trying. But not only does Benedict have more talent and screen presence in his little finger than Dyer, he has also shown far more respect to actors plying their trade in soap. In an interview last year he revealed he'd told Jessie Wallace at an awards do she's "a brilliant actress". So not only is Benedict far better actor but less snobbish and more respectful too. |

It's open season on eastenders at the moment as far as the gutter press is concerned, it will only continue with this lame producer in charge.

Without his on screen family he would be nothing! Would not miss him at all. We will see what's it all about when Kelly is on leave and son number one gone. Lol

Saw him on an old 8 out of 10 cats the other night
Omg what a difference ...why does he now look like he's stoned/drunk all the time with the squinty eyes and puffy face ? |

He comes across as arrogant and a bad loser
He clams 'No disrespect' to Adam and Steve. What a joke Steve has actually played more than one role, so Danny should check his facts. Steve appeared in an episode of 'Murder in mind'http://www.soapsquawk.co.uk/eastende...nt-lace-boots/ |

Let's face it, LHolmes, Danny Dyer could come out in support of legalising infanticide and you'd still find a way to "keep an open mind" about it.
I like his character (though he's not my fave Carter) but I'm not especially invested in him as a person/actor, thus I have no reason to blindly defend him. |

There's no justifying his comments in my view. I like Danny and love Mick as a character but he's bang out of order here.
Sound like the press office need a boot up the backside for okaying this
