Que Paso? - which ones did you enjoy?
Sorry terrible pun but couldn't think of a better one.
In light of the fact that the DO suriver did a paso and Daisy had previously being in the DO for doing one and that so many are memorable for good and bad reasons which ties in with comments to Ed. It seemed like a good time to have complication of the ones people found the most entertaining - for the right or wrong reasons. Well that I do love a good (or so bad it's good) paso and it's better than reading the 'he sunk my battleship' rhetoric from disgruntled Daisy fans (sorry any disgruntled Daisy fans - and please feel free to post). As a lesser known I seem to remember Mark Ramprakash's being good. I'll post up the clip when I've got a bit more time. |

Ok there goes the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQBRT_Kil_0
Better still was - Louisa and Vincent: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aDlMfNhVTVg Jill and Darren: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ln_rITxB8c - hadn't seen this before but it is very good. and later on Leticia and Darren: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eZXKjapA86c and the same year the two finalists: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CdgW-MEFGdY and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2ohf_6hIDw It also influenced her showdance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LXaPwhrAFic The one which isn't good but I can't forget: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mpWXwgYfmpE - if you think Greg was stompy welcome to stompy mcstomp fest and there is the drag that has become legendary for all the wrong reasons: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eZXKjapA86c https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sP0e6j-bA0Y - Austin and Erin looking back now a bit style over substance but man did it have style. Monkseal's pick for the campest paso in the west: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8l32jpqzIxU and from the same series: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F0E9xNZGXRE - say my name and finally Danny's music reminded me of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5LPSvR_mhw |

Ok I probably shouldn't but I love this one - Ola at her best and a great interpretation of the music.

Anita's paso last year for me is the best I've ever seen, at least from a female celeb. Disgusting it only got the one 10.

I love a Paso. Or more accurately I love a Paso the way I love a Christmas dinner in that I love the trimmings rather more than the main component. So for me
Matador jacket - check Rip roaring music - check Spanish Guitar - check Castenets - check Lots of grand gestures - check Some real flames - big check Give me all that and I am a happy bunny even if it isn't maybe danced so well. If we get some thing with spacemen or to rock music Iam not so enamoured even if it is technically brilliant. |

Just to be difficult, I do not like the paso especially done to 'traditional' music.
Too much hype, drama and testosterone, not my cup of tea. OTT 😤 However there have been some done to modernish rock music that I quite enjoyed |

The afore-mentioned Anita & Gleb's would be my first choice but in a close second:

Susanna and Kevin's paso doble literally made me take up latin and ballroom dancing so my vote goes to that one!

Paso is Steve Backshall's favourite dance. His favourite song suits a Rumba. Ola combined them for him.
Steve agreed in training - it looked better with less aggression - so how aggressive was it in training? ![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8JyScvch4E |

Wasn't Kevin and Susanna's Paso that inspired a whole thread?
"Kevin from the motherf****** Grimsby!!!"? And Susanna wafting her skirt like her lady parts were on fire? ![]() ![]() ![]() I hate Pasos danced to rock music, it doesn't make sense at all to me. Latin dances should be danced to Latin music, it's not like there's a shortage of Latin music going around. |

Must give a shout out for Ben and Kristina's paso - for the shirtlessness alone

Best will always be Jill and Darren's - her Spanish lines were flawless, it was just beautifully executed. Notable mentions go to Denise and Ian, Kara and Artem and Holly and Artem, and Caroline and Pasha's (which IMO, was seriously undermarked).

Not the best in terms of technique, but I enjoyed Ashley Taylor Dawson and Ola's paso for sheer verve.

I hate Paso's and have only liked 4!
Jay and Aliona cos they made Paso cool https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Ra0uvOSg6Ak Jay and Aliona in the final because they were completely unpaso grinning away at each other but still cool! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6kaoLS3B4kg Alesha and Matthew (think she's done the best girl Paso) https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=G2ohf_6hIDw Austin and Erin (OLÉ) https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=sP0e6j-bA0Y |

Holly & Artem
Susanna & Kevin Alesha & Matt That's about it. It's a dance that always promises more than it delivers IMO. |
