It would save a lot of typing time. Over the years we get the same old thing. Just insert name in the template and you're done!

"I can't believe XXXXX is still in it."

"Why is XXXXX still in it?"

"XXXXX should quit now."

"I can't understand why people don't love the Cliftons."

"I can't understand why people love the Cliftons."

"XXXXX is definitely the worst dancer."

"XXXXX is definitely the best dancer."

"You should be ashamed of voting for XXXXX."

"It's about the best dancer."

"It's not about the best dancer."

There must be plenty more.

Or just let people live their life and express their views?

I mean it is usually similar themes each year but I love it. The reasons these forums exist is because everyone here is passionate about Strictly or dancing or both. The people in my life don't give two hoots about Strictly so I get to come here and talk about my own viewpoints of the show.

Don't think of it as whinging, think of it as expressions of passion

Too true. However much I might disagree with another FM's views, nothing is more than annoying than the self appointed forum police :

"This topic has been covered before " (no really?)

"If you can't say anything nice ..."

"Just because you are a jellus hater"

"God, is this thread still going"? Yep and you've just kept it going even longer.

Why don't people just ignore the threads or the FMs who bug them so much?

I love the 'I can't warm to' posters.

It's their way of trying to still appear nice, whilst hoping they are firing the starting gun for others to pour in with some really nasty comments.

For some reason I can't warm to that type of poster.

This. Those who criticise thread topics with "....... But I wouldn't have started a thread on it" or those who say that never start their own threads but find it so easy to criticise others

Usually acompanied by a validation based on the posters ability to "tell from their face" what an individual on TV is thinking. What I wouldn't give for that gift. Can you imagine how much easier life, work, personal relationships etc would be if you could reliably tell what a colleague etc was thinking, just by looking at them?.

Yup, you can guarantee what follows will make no sense, whilst also ripping said celebrity to shreds.

You're right because all the things people complain about happen every year anyway. We'll have another Ed Balls figure next year, just as we'll have some ex soap star or pop princess who clearly have loads of dance experience. And yet it's still fun.

Well I was aware of the irony in the fact that the threads which bug me are probably the ones I contribute the most to!
