I think it's one of the weakest line ups for years. I'm glad there's hardly any reality 'stars' in there because they just spoil it with the way they talk but the people in there are just B list celebs with the exception of a couple. I mean. the comedian bloke. Who's he when he's at home? With the exception of Carol Vordeman and Larry Lamb they're not exactly household names. You'd only know them if you watch what they're in unlike someone like Eric Bristow who everyone had heard of even if you hated darts.

I was struck by the fact that I knew all but two of them. I think Scarlett's stretching the 'celebrity' title a bit, but I knew who she was. The only two I didn't know were Joel and Sam. I've just never come across Joel before, but really liking him so far. The only reason I don't know Sam is because I'm not from the UK. If it was an Irish Olympian, I'd certainly know him/her.

It's a sad world we live in. Olympians should be (and often are) the most A of A list celebrities. After all, they are categorically brilliant at what they do. That's fame that's significant.

You needn't watch 'that dancing nonsense on BBC' but that doesn't alter the fact that Ola Jordan was a world class professional Latin dancer, until she retired from competition. She made her name long before she appeared in Strictly. Just because you haven't heard of her doesn't mean she is a non-entity..

Any more than any of the others on the show are non-entities just because I haven't heard of them. (Only heard of Carol, Lisa and Larry).

I'd say it's a refreshing change to have (that gogglebox girl excluded) celebrities who are actually famous for having some sort of talent and working hard to get where they are from the usual talentless reality show circuit workers from TOWIE, made in Chelsea, ex on the beach etc

I'd imagine no-one wants to work with him as he's such a knob, possibly his Dad still gets him a bit of work, knowing a few people in the business
