Honey G a new Miranda Sings?
Charlottesweb
14-11-2016
For those who do not know, Miranda Sings is a youtube character played by a talented singer/comedian who was initially created as a parody of the many youtube videos out there of people convinced they are fantastic singers but cannot sing a note.

She has seen massive success, 7 million subscribers, touring worldwide and just launched a Netflix TV show.

Is honey G simply a syco project to tap into that market perhaps?

People love Miranda. Honey G seems to be more hated than liked.

Miranda's creator can actually sing amazingly well and has great comic invention and timing.

Honey G is just a very bad parody act with no underlying talent.

Well I don't think you're too far wrong with the producers and Simon being in on the act

I can't think of another reason why simon, who in previous years would've slated her , voted for her tonight

for every time this "theory" pops up i will point you to the fact that there is clear evidence out there that HG has been doing what she's been doing for years, so if she is a "project" then she's been held on ice for at least three years, probably more.

she's not a "project" or "parody" - she clearly genuinely believes she is the real deal

If she believes that then she is deluded. Seriously deluded.

I'm not saying she isn't deluded - how many of the terrible acts that have auditioned over the years have said they're good ?.

How many times have there been acts that have stood in front of the judges and you know they're going to be terrible but they've said they can see themselves selling as many albums as Michael Jackson ?

As i've said all along, if she is a "project" or a "parody character" then why go to all the effort (and spend however much money) in establishing her years ago and keeping her going until now ?

Why spend money on her releasing music and filming music videos ?

She finished as runner up in the 2002 Ministry of Sound National Student DJ Competition - 14 years ago. Did Cowell organise that and rig the competition just to further establish her as a character he'd unleash in 2016 ?

After the sing-off, and her poor attitude in going through, I do think people are coming around to the fact that she genuinely sees herself as a credible rapper but there are still plenty of people who seemingly can't quite reconcile that and are still trying to convince themselves that she's a "project" created by Cowell.

Now it has gone beyond a joke! I'm feeling bad for the genuine singers who have been put out, while she is still there. Even Bratavio had better entertainment skills than she has. When I think about Relley and Gifti, I am getting really angry that she's still there, taking a place that could have been taken by a much better entertainer. Aside from the fact that she can't sing a note, she's an obnoxious character as well.

Sharon seriously needs to question her motives in choosing her. I'll be absolutely furious if she is Sharon's last act in the competition - however it looks very much like that will come to pass. Saara appears to struggle with acceptance, since she's not from this country, although getting her out on the streets to talk to people might help.

Putting Ryan out instead of G is a big mistake, because he can really sing. OK, I know he's not that popular, and Matt appears to be the golden boy at the moment. Now it's coming down to the wire. Simon only has Emily left, after Sam's shock exit. Nicole is down to just Matt now. Louis has 5 after midnight, and Sharon is the only one left with two acts - Saara and Honey G.
