It wasn't meant to be, and how ironic that you didn't criticise that individual for his vile, and totally uncalled for comments about Natalie, in fact you seemed to agree with him.

I'm not sure I understand why she seems desperate, I know other posters say this too. All I see is a professional dancer being ultra positive to her student and giving him the confidence that he needs to dance well and put in a super performance.

Every one of us is different but I think that when Natalie has had celebs deemed duffers in the past, the celebs themselves know they have not got what it takes to be a good dancer and accepted it week by week with loads of encouragement and support from Natalie. With Greg, a sportsman out of his comfort zone, he still has the competitive drive to do what he can to be the best that he can be.

It may be - and this is pure assumption on my part - that Greg may respond in a negative way to critisism and feel defeated after putting in a lot of work, Natalie will respond in any way she can to pick him up, keep his confidence up and self belief, that he can do it.

Maybe so but posters are allowed an opinion of the show but not of each other.

As for Natalie and Greg, I don't have pro favourites, only celebs. I am just giving my honest opinion but it seems you can take no criticism of Natalie but are easy to dish it out to posters.

I do love Greg and have followed his career but I am not fond of his dancing.

Like I said, I really like Natalie. She's my favorite on this show along with Oti. I understand your points and I agree with some of them but she's just not " the same " this series . I know this sounds odd and I can't really explain it but imo some celebrities bring the best or worst in some pros and in this case it seems to be the latter. I still really like her as a person and a pro but this partnership is just not working for me anymore.

In various threads in recent years quite a few people have mentioned actually meeting Natalie on the Tour shows and cruises etc., - every single comment has been extremely positive.

I am finding myself visiting this forum less and less these days, fed up with all the negativity. Yes, of course people are free to comment as they see fit, makes for dull reading though.

That didn't help. I have always thought Nat had class, now not so much.

I do agree with you Mr C. Being a very positive person myself, I don't understand the negativity either. There is always a positive way to look at every situation. I have dancers that I prefer over others, but having said that, I would not refer to those less preferred, in a negative way.

I wonder did you post something similar on the many, many nasty threads about the Cliftons? To be fair, there really haven't been many negative ones on Natalie.

For me, her partnership with Greg hasn't worked as well as some of her previous ones. However, I don't think it reflects on either of them. That's just the way it goes.

That photo of Natalie wearing the black top looks as if she may have been caught out there. It's clearly very thin fabric but I suspect the photographers' flash is the reason for it being rather transparent. In fairness, she perhaps did not realise that when she chose it.

Plus people photo shop those pics, it might not even be real!

There have been recently. Natalie hasn't criticised the Cliftons. However you might want to protect and defend the Cliftons is no reasons to be spiteful about the other pros.

Actually I did.
I certainly recall posting a few seasons back that I found some of the comments about Kevin & Karen in particular in the Spiteful Thread quite distasteful. However I have long since given up on that, just don't read that stuff any more.

I must admit, I've not liked a lot of her choreography this year but I think much of that can be blamed on the music she is being given. You don't suddenly become a poor choreographer for no apparent reason.


If it was "all about the butt" then we have our trophy winners already as Greg's is certainly a standout in its own right!!!

As well as Natalie & Oti being my favourite pros too, I totally agree with this point. Greg appears not to bring out the best in her - Scott Maslen, however, absolutely did IMHO, making theirs one of my favourite partnerships EVAH. That was when Natalie was at her height for me. Like others have said, I couldn't stand her with RW but she grew on me. I also love the gentle way she was with her "duffers".

I don't remember being spiteful about any of the pros.

As much as I love Natalie, I'm going to say something quite controversial here as to why I think she may be off her game this series. From the way she gazes at him (particularly in the intros to their dances) and less so through some off her body language, I think she likes Greg a little "too" much. But instead of "doing a Kristina", she is trying her best to remain professional without allowing her feelings to take over. I think she may be struggling though.

May sound stupid and far-fetched but something is definitely "pinging" in this direction for me...
