When I called Kerry a 'whore'*, it wasn't becuase she has had many partners. That's her choice and I'm not judging that aspect.
I use that word as the writers decided to make her a literal prostitute by having her sleep with the client to get the contract. It wasn't even done in a subtle fashion. It was clearly stated as quid pro quo.

She was barely hit
Adam stumbled into her and she had a soft landing - it wasn't t lije she landed on the ground! It just didn't t look like she was struck with enough force to break a rib at all. Different if she had been concerned about the potential baby.
