KING has a right to be a bit nervous. When serfs tend to touch his property, it gets damaged or he gets assaulted...

I think Kate contacted the police after Caz left a "suspicious message" on her phone?

Please please throw away the key and let her whine herself to death.

And Kate has now forgotten about everything crazy Caz did to her and seems to have also forgotten that her and luke warned Maria when Maria let Caz stay that she's bad news.

No. They're both stupid storylines. But I'm enjoying the Phelan one more (I don't hate Maria by the way)
Sorry I'm just getting sick of all the negativity about one s/l when there's others more stupid & far less interesting imo!! I'll get over it!!

I'm slightly perplexed with all the members who have voted 1/10. The stupid Maria storyline aside, the rest wasn't that bad IMO.

He better keep away from my Eva, or steps will be taken!

Ok I've had a little rant on another thread, I've taken a deep breath & now I'm back!!

Some decent stuff on tonight's episodes imo!!
Absolutely LOVED the David/Maria scenes early in the first episode!! Such an interesting history with those two, they argue like brother & sister sometimes but are actually really quire fond of each other underneath it imo (not in a romantic way at all) so yeah loved that!!

The Phelan & Michael stuff is boring the pants off me to be honest, as is the whole protracted & far fetched 'flats that don't exist' s/l but I do find the dynamic between Phelan & Eileen quite interesting & hope they go down the route of him caring more about her than he thought & not being willing to fleece her eventually!! All the best villains have a soft side to them imo (except maybe Jez Quigley who was just wonderfully horrible!!!)

The Platt/Windass thing is great & I did feel so sorry for poor little Bethany tonight!!
Good to see 'bad boy' Gary putting in an apoearance as well, love that character now, one of my favourites!! Faye, Seb & Craig could be interesting!!

Too much Tracy again but I'm glad her & Luke hopefully seem to be a 'flash in the pan!!'
I presume the 'mystery hospital visitor' is going to be
Spoiler

Finally the controversial one!!
Yeah the discovery of the scissors was horrendous, but wasn't our Jenny loving it, being able to land Maria in the sh*t!! She's not one to forget a grudge, that one !!
Others I'm sure will laugh in my face for saying it but nowt new there, I think Maria's reactions to both her arrest & being locked up were acted to perfection, calm & holding it together in front of everyone but losing it completely when she was on her own & it dawned on her just how much trouble she was in!! Felt so sorry for her in that last scene!!

7/10 for me for the episodes as a whole!!

Ok I'm off again & leave you all to laugh!!

Tracy could do so much better.
Why ????

Why didn't they just lob the scissors in the canal
after cleaning them
He recognises a carrier bag that he saw Maria with??
He started his career as a bin diver

Is Seb still angling for a shag?
He is very patient

Nurse Rana will sort it out.
She should have told Barlow to bog off

Kirk looking very concerned

Or has he just shat himself?
or both

Have a think Gary.

Is your anger worth losing out on the potential Fit Mother/Fit Daughter combo jackpot you are lining up?
He could have waited.

David you little worm.
Excellent description

Gary didn't hit David hard or often enough
Agreed
I wonder how many times Caz has been watching Maria walking about naked in her flat
Don't you watch Corrie Blue ?

Sean's still got the power of speech
I have to admit that Sean was crap
Oh Christ, the Cotton creature is back!
He is NOT Jesus

Love these scenes with Phelan and Michael :
MIchael is an idiot. He should just have gone to the scene of these proposed flats

What I can't fathom is why the ugly ginger blokes (Craig, Chesney, Gary) keep managing to pull fit young ladies.

That's the most far-fetched storyline of all.
They have the benefit of the script

I'm slightly perplexed with all the members who have voted 1/10. The stupid Maria storyline aside, the rest wasn't that bad IMO.
I gave it 2 bonus points for Platt getting punched

For those of us who remember the days when Corrie was unmissable, it was appalling.

The Maria stuff is dull but I'm loving the Phelan vs Michael scenes.
Also Todd looked ridiculously hot.
