I like Warwick Davis but God this programme is as dull as a wet Tuesday in Clacton. I switched over after ten minutes.
Actually, it is possible to have fun on a wet Tuesday in Clacton.
It depends on who you know.

I was surprised when the supermarket list today was completed with Spar, which I just thought was a chain of corner shops. I was convinced it was going to be Iceland.

12500 shops in 35 countries.

I'm pretty sure it was top ten UK supermarkets. Someone said Walmart which was not on the list, though Asda was. Walmart owns Asda, but does not exist as a named supermarket in this country.

I still think of Spar (in this country) as a chain of corner shops, which small independent stores join as a sort of umbrella organisation.

That's one option certainly but it also has small chains and its own stores. Exeter (the nearest big place to me), for example, has no less than 5 Spar outlets with everything from a 24 hour superstore down to a village shop. That all adds up to a lot of till rings a day!

Probably a regional thing then. I'm still wondering where Iceland came on the list

Spar, to me, was more obvious as a supermarket than Marks & Spencer which was also on the list

In the latest figures published on supermarket turnover:

* Iceland is 9th

* Marks & Spencer is not on the list

* Spar is not on the list

* "Independents and others" is 10th

As always, correct at time of recording or a stated date if earlier.

Bye then, nice knowing you.

That bloke on the football list today was a total idiot throwing all that away. Too much of a gamble, which didn't pay off.

What bogs this show down is the need to wait for the 'reveal' of an answer even when it's blooming obvious - it sucks all the life out of the programme.

In the similar "Who Dares Wins" show, Nick Knowles is able to decide when an answer reveal needs a bit of tension building and for obvious answers he just goes "yes of course" or something like that and moves on quickly. Thus that show flows much better.

Actually, I'll give this a second chance like I have done with other quizzes. If I still don't like it then I won't be watching again.

To me it felt like a rip off of Who Dares Wins (list format) and Decimate (overrule button).

Not forgetting also nominate = pass back (except that with the Decimate pass back two people get to discuss their answer.)

I agree that the reveal process is too drawn out. Perhaps they have to do that because they can't get much advertising for that time of day (as seems apparent from the ultra short breaks).

But on the plus side, it's a quiz you can follow exactly in sound only, leaving you free to be doing other stuff like typing out DS Forum posts like this one!

So funny when today's terrible team lost, especially the idiotic woman who thought she had learnt all the X factor winners but then didn't even recognize the name of last year's winner when it was given 😂😂🙈🙈🙈

A whole new definition of imbecilic.

I reckon you think this is a plan by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant,

Actually I thought it was telling commentary on how far X-Factor had fallen that they got everyone apart from the most recent winner! I'm proud to say I wouldn't have got half of them!

I'd have got like 2 of those answers. I hate X Factor!

So yeah I've given Tenable another chance. It's actually OK but it's way too slow the way the answer is revealed.

Don't you just hate it every time Warwick says 'you're terrible at Tenable'?

Considering some of the contestants, I don't think he says it enough.
