Oh dear! They overruled a perfectly good answer and replaced it with a perfectly wrong one and got the guy eliminated. Hope they have a strong friendship.

A good programme today I thought. Some strange answers: Michael Foot was a Prime Minister, and Majorca is smaller than Ibiza.

They made a bit of a mistake not bringing Mum back for the final round though obviously they couldn't have known it was going to be Prime Ministers. She would have known the oldest ones, I'm sure. Certainly the first time I've been able to get all 10 with no mistakes!

I was shouting James Callaghan at the telly but had completely forgotten about Alec Douglas Home.

When I were but a strip of a lad, I remember being on night shift and watching the election results come in when Alec Douglas Home became prime minister.

Or at least I thought I did. I have just checked and it must have been the 64 election when he actually lost (to Harold Wilson).

Rosa cost her team a lot of money by not stopping after she'd got one wrong (as well as the money she herself lost, another minimum of £1k to bring her back).

(BTW, Beth had a good figure )

Love this show! Warwick is brilliant and so natural, compared to that Sean on Rebound who is a dreadful presenter.

I was exactly the same! I was shouting Callaghan and Harold MacMillan ( for the second of these).

In our defence, Alec Douglas Home was pretty forgettable, and only one out with SuperMac!

Was Beth the one in the jeans with the nice bum? She looked really annoyed with herself when she went out. A lot of them don't give a toss.

I agree he is a good presenter, but I wish he wouldn't keep going on about what films he's been in. OK, we get you have been in a few.

As soon as the question came up I rattled off the 9 Prime Ministers from May to Wilson so I knew the 10th one was going to be whoever preceded Harold Wilson in the 60s but the only name I could think of was Harold MacMillan.

It's always interesting watching this that they don't seem as strict on answers being 100% accurate as they are on Pointless

No that was Rosa. Yes nice bum. Beth was the one in the zip up denim dress and the big boobs!

I think the reason is, apart from the last round, in Pointless teams are competing against others, so it has to be as fair as possible for everyone, hence the strictness on the answers, whereas in Tenable there is only one team so they can give more leeway.

He's sending himself up! I'm guessing you didn't watch Life's Too Short?

Oh right! No I didn't.

I was thinking self-promotion is not a very British thing

I hate it that question masters have to stick to set patter in every episode.
In Eggheads.....Who will beat you?
The Chase ...... And for you, the Chase is over.
Tenable ...... You're terrible at Tenable.

I'm sure they are all be paid nice, fat fees. Surely they could come up with something different themselves.

Does a tennis umpire come up with a new way to say the set's won or the game over? It makes sense from all sorts of points of view to have a catchphrase to mark transition points in a quiz show. As often as not it takes on a life all of its own. Just think of all the jokes based on "You are the weakest link, goodbye!" Why would you change a winning formula?

The Weakest Link catchphrase was good though. The Tenable one is just awful, or terrible maybe. Sometimes things catch on for all the wrong reasons.

People get "You're Terrible . . . " when they have had a good effort and just missed out AND when they have had a total 'mare. There have been a few individuals this week who have been embarrassingly poor and I have really hoped that Warwick would come up with a new one - such as "You are truly 💩 at tenable".

Especially the bloke yesterday who gave Cliff Richard and (especially) ELVIS PRESLEY as his answer to the last 10 winners of Strictly Come Dancing

The team of medics was an embarrassment - their general knowledge was truly shocking.

He seemed to be shoved into doing that category against his will, obviously not willing to say no.

They weren't exactly a team that would watch programmes like Strictly Come Dancing.

I hope they bring this back for a second series. I didn't watch at first, but It grew on me as it went along.

I didn't know we had come to the end of the series.
I see we're back to Dickinson's Real Deal!

Yup just 20 episodes for the pilot series. We'll have to wait and see whether it gets picked up for more.
