Yes.

Bad choices of contestants.
Bad choices of music.
Comments, put on lipstick.
Telling fellow judges to shut up.
Turning up as a scruff , T shirt, beard and not bothering like the others.
Arrogant.

He thinks he can turn up, sit behind a desk do nothing, and earn £5 million, - and ITV pay it.

He is TOO OLD for a teenager focused music show.

Simon Cowell lost his touch in 2009.

It just took several years for the knock on effect to actually become obvious.

...but is The X Factor a "teenager focused music show"? I genuinely don't know that many under 25's who watch the show, but I know a much larger number of people over 45+ who watch the show.

Whichever way you look at it, it's a shambles.

He thinks that he can just have Honey G on the show and that she'll do all of the work for him, it doesn't work that way as people do want the best singers at their very best.

yeah he's admitted to mistakes more this year so I think he is losing it a touch this time

He has done a pretty shite job of mentoring this year. And his comments aren't as constructive as they once were.

I miss Simon of the first few series. Even when he ended up dumping his own act

The extent of Simon's constructive comments these days seems to be "The first half of the song wasn't that great but once you got into it, it was absolutely fantastic." He always says stuff like this.

Simon started to lose his touch years ago, He is nowhere near as entertaining as he used to be, we all at one point, related to his "honesty" however now I do think he is what one would call a "has been".

Don't think he's taking this season seriously. At all. Maybe fatherhood changed him, maybe he's bored with the concept. Total let down.

Very accurate, his behaviour and mental state has seriously deteriorated for whatever reason. It would be interesting to get hold of an old episode of a Pop Idol live show from back in the day. Watching that I think most people would be shocked at how different he was.

I think he prefers doing BGT & AGT instead of the X factor

The X Factor tour will earn him big money, I bet. I worked out the other day from the cost of seats and number of seats in all the arenas (well, I didn't check the number os seats in all arenas) where the tour goes, and with everything paid for, I would say he maybe ends up getting around £20m at the end of every tour.

This was the reason for Gifty's demise. Plugging the songs of an American group that the majority of people aren't interested in. Lazy lazy mentoring - and so obviously trying to kill two birds with one stone.

He mentored two young girls last week and gave them both slow songs for disco week. They could have had so much fun with an upbeat song. He might as well have mentored over 60s. Again lazy lazy mentoring.

Well past his sell by date.

Simon knows what he's doing. He just didn't want Sam Lavery in the show anymore.. The winner will be Matt, unless they want him 2nd place so he can promote his music before the winner gets their chance.. Then it will be Saara (she will suffer the winners curse.

Judges are just a bunch of sycophants to be honest. There was a time when we had an honest evaluation of contestants.

Well he couldn't have messed up Gifty anymore if he tried. It was as if he wanted to get rid of her rather than give her a chance of doing well.

I cant imagine there will be good ticket sales to see that motley bunch, unless they are a fiver each which I doubt.

We know the winner will be Matt as they want a bland, safe winner. Saara is the best vocalist and most interesting so she won't win.

There could be. After looking at videos of the 2015 tour, the arenas looked to be full.

If that is correct they must be gluttons for punishment.

I genuinely don't understand this. I'm far from a huge fan and wouldn't have even gone to a tour (if there was one) during Series 5 which is my favourite series ever. But who, in this day and age, would think "Oh I know, I think that I'll willingly spend money and time on a live version of that ever failing show that I mostly fast forward to get through all the crap?" I know of course there will be some people but enough to make Simon big money? Do they still sell out at arenas?

If they paid me £1000 I wouldn't want to watch the crap from this year.
