That's weird I randomly wondered this like 5 mins ago without seeing this thread. I assumed she was going through a year's artist development before releasing but it's been 3 years now.

I'm sure her number one fan will be along soon to give us his prediction of how successful she'll be any day now

Well she was apparently signed to a development deal, but I reckon they had planned on launching her much sooner but have just kept pushing her back while they focus on others.

She is still with them and I read earlier today on Popjustice that she is apparently releasing in the Spring now, but honestly who knows.

She's still learning the lines to her first single.

Whatevers happening it's not looking good for her! If they had any big intentions you would have thought they'd release around now to promo her on X Factor 3 years is a long time without releasing anything!

She's releasing when they find her hit I guess - maybe they haven't come up with full album good enough material yet - she's coming in 2017 I've read it a lot of times - shel deffo have a single out anyway

Lol as much as I do not rate Fleur as a vocalist I have 102903920902 times more respect for her than I do Tamera (never rated Tamera much either) Fleur appears to genuinely enjoy being a performer and let us give her some credit she has shown potential to be a decent performer. Tamera was only ever there to become famous. Seriously, HOW do you forget your song lyrics??????? HOW?? I don't think it was nerves.

I dunno tamera was crap in respect of remembering lyrics and not really working hard or showing she deserved to be in the finals but she also had some potential and she is a pretty girl with a half decent voice but it's not as strong as fleurs is (now) fleurs had a lot of coaching and I mean a lot she's technically very good singer but it didn't always translate in the X factor show, tamera is still very young swear she's only like 20? She may still Be trying find herself she didn't have much in the way of knowing who she was as an artist.

Forgetting the lyrics is a cardinal sin for a singer, she did it 3 times I believe, one time you can forgive and perhaps blame it on nerves, two times you can start to worry and after 3 times, you simply know that person is not a real singer, though she had some technical skills, she lacked the most important part of singing which is connecting with the song, in the WORST way possible. You can lose connection with a song by injecting too much power at the wrong time or over trilling in the wrong parts, but forgetting the lyrics is the most basic, rookie mistake and for someone of her ability it screams "I STARTED SINGING TO GET RICH AND B ON TV AND BECOME FAMOUS" seriously any of you kids out there that want to become singers, never forget what it is that YOU are singing about that is so crucial.

Please tell me you are kidding? I love Fleur, but she is the one with the half decent voice, but that isn't her USP its her performance skills which make her so great.

Tamera is light years ahead of Fleur in terms of singing, with proper coaching she could be come a truly brilliant singer.

Erm no! I've heard Fleur live a few times now I've heard the notes she's hit, she wasn't as good as tamera in the actual show but now she's broadened her range she offers light and shade and good tone - it's my opinion and fleur has a broader range - as told to me by her vocal coach.....tamera is good but she's overrated, she's all on one level she's shouty to also she has a shite work ethic

She removed syco from her Twitter bio and someone asked her if she still with them and she said yeah - I'm not sure how development deals work did Ella have one or did she just go straight into recording

I'm pretty sure Ella had an actual recording deal. My understanding of development deals is the label will work with an artist to develop their sound, raise their public profile and even record some material, but they make no commitment to releasing any material. I think the artist also signs away some of their rights. I can't remember for sure but I think Jojo (of Leave Get Out fame) was on such a deal and it sounded very dodgy and not good for the artist.
