Not every show has to revolve around arguments and constant conflict from the start”

I don't think anybody said that.
Speaking for myself it's just boring because they don't seem to be very interesting people as a group.
Usually there seems to be a more diverse mix.

It's nothing to do with a lack of arguing, it's more that when you have one or two nutcases in there people bounce off each other in more watchable ways and the dynamic is more engaging to watch. Sometimes arguing just happens to be a consequence of that, sometimes not.

Last years shows was way to OTT with the arguing and insulting all caused by one person and it got tedious and dull very quickly because of that, I wish they would just concentrate o showing the celebs talking with each other and getting to know each other rather than all the daft montages of upcoming trials etc that are repeated after each ad break.

Danny baker and homes under the hammer guy going in , wooop dee doo.

This is the dullest series I've seen and I've watched it most years. It's like the producers have deliberately went for the most boring people they could find after last years arguments. Ant and Dec's banter is the only interesting thing.

Even the Aussie crew are struggling with ant and decs banter as the they have no idea whose these people are.

You are not getting the laughs coming back like normal

the banter has been mainly pathetic, I don't think they can blame it on these people being not known, everyone has heard of Stephen Hawking but that bit was really desperate stuff

I have watched every single series.

I wasn't that keen on watching this year's programmes when I saw who was going in......not a fan of Carol Vorderman, Scarlett Gogglebox, Ola Jordan, never heard of Jordan, the comedic guy with the beard whose name I can't recall. Had heard of Larry Lamb, Lisa snowdon, Adam Emmerdale, Wayne Wife was in Strictly, and the Olympian.

Thought how boring this will be.

Have laughed out loud tonight and Monday night....there are some cracking little one liners in there, people who I was indifferent to have shown themselves to be good decent human beings and there seems to be a good camaraderie all round. So am actually enjoying it far more than I remember enjoying any other series at this stage.

However, can't bear Danny Baker and will be voting vehemently to get him out!! And the fella from Homes and Hammer - don't really know him, but have seen him a couple of times on TV and will look forward to hearing what he plans to do with his accomodation when he gets in there!

I agree and I am enjoying at this early stage also. It is early days just now and too soon to criticise. I find it refreshing that it is a happy camp for now but no doubt it will change without manipulation hopefully.

Yes, I would've liked it if the two new contestants were American.

I agree having no Americans is definitely a big plus in the shows favour.

I'm really liking the fact they all get on.

They seem like a great bunch of people and this is the first series where I can honestly say I don't dislike any of them.
