Have been listening to FutureSex/LoveSounds a lot, recently. It's made me think that this particular period was his best, musically. Justified was all about him finding his sound, and during FS/LS I think he found it. The extended instrumentals at the end of tracks, the lavish and creative videos that went with What Goes Around and My Love... Then came 20/20, and I think he lost it, slightly. He tried too hard and it was all over the place. And now of course we're getting watered-down JT with Can't Stop The Feeling, which, while a very good pop song, isn't what I'd call the true JT sound....

Loved Future Sex/Love Sounds. Think it was a game changer for that period. 20/20 didn't have the same appeal for me and it felt dated.

Love this album/ Not too keen on what I heard of 20/20. I thought it was a bit boring.

20/20 could of been a lot better if they had trimmed down the songs they all seemed to be 7 minutes long so whenever they came on shuffle I just moved along

I remember hearing SexyBack for the first time and being blown away by how fresh and cool it was.
