Emmerdale-anyone else find Kerry insufferable?

Very much so. Since she split from Dan she has gone back to the hideously annoying person she was when she first arrived.

If I was her employer, I would have sacked her ages ago. But then I would probably have sacked most of Sharma's workers. I don't know how they ever meet any targets given the flexible hours they all seem to work.

I don't think it really mattered who wrote the episode. The writing was hardly worse than Monday's offering.

It's all the forced humour that the new producer is so fond of and forced it down our throats all summer, that's bringing Emmerdale down not the characters.
If Kerry's antics weren't played for laughs I expect it would be a damn sight more entertaining to watch. I mean, it wouldn't be difficult. The show is a complete shambles at the moment.

One week it's up there and really good. Then we have these down weeks, which could be filled with interesting stuff but it's like nobody can really be bothered with it so they shove Aaron and Robert in them to make sure people tune in.

I found the claim they had prostituted her to get business the most ludicrous aspect of the whole episode to be honest. She willingly slept with the client.

She is acting the victim always.

The eternal victim act is what is so off putting. She never faces the consequences of her actions head on, it's always with a victim attitude.

If she had thanked Priya for trying to help her out, I would like this sl. But she berated Priya, and blamed her for herself getting fired.

At the risk of sounding like a nutter I nearly put the foot through the tv at that and my tv is on the wall

Also the fact that we're expected to believe that a self-respecting client would be even interested in a chav production line worker, let alone insist they conduct the sales meeting. And the fact that Kerry wasn't either sent home or locked up in a room out of the way of the meeting when she was behaving so outrageously in the workplace.

This week's drivel surpassed that with her break-in, then threatening her employers. The wheelchair and neck-brace were beyond the realms of stupidity.

Who in the team of ED production thought this would be remotely entertaining?

Yes, my Dad had type 2 Diabetes. He's s able to have a ' treat' of chocolate and a glass of whisky once a week, but otherwise he keeps to a very healthy diet. I know many sufferers have to be much stricter, and some have to carry a soft drink with them all the time for emergencies. You would have thought Kerry's s previous health scare might have shocked her. I wouldn't t expect an instant 100% reformed lifestyle but you're d think she's d make some changes. She's s a binge drinker - she needs to get help with that!

I don't know why anyone thinks she "prostituted" herself. She didn't. She fancied the bloke, slept with him and clearly expected to keep seeing him afterwards, yet I've seen people call her a prostitute and whore. She isn't.

Kerry is one of these people who in real life would end up homeless and hopeless, because there's s just no helping them - they won't t try to help themselves, so nothing anyone else does or says makes any difference. I suspect in reality , she' d just keep on getting worse. No doubt, this being a soap, she'll hit rock bottom before finding that good ol' Road to Damascus

Exactly !!!!

All her scenes last night ,and the way they had Jai just rolling over just succeeded in Pissing me off . The whole thing was just bloody stupid ,and there's nothing likeable about her at all at the minute ,she's just getting sillier and sillier with every episode ,undoing all the good work that's become Emmerdale of late ..it's now just become a Nonsense ,with this S/L

It was because of the implication, made in the programme, that she was sealing the business deal.

Personally, I think she quite liked him and wanted to take it further, so in her mind it wasn't t about the business deal. In his it definitely was. He's s a horror and I was glad he got short shrift from Priya.

She accused Jai and rishi of prostituting her. Did you watch the episode? Noone has called her a whore. We're taking issue with her victimhood and her vile criminal behaviour

I was referring to some quotes I've seen where she has been called a whore

There's a difference between admitting to prostituting yourself and suspecting your boss of basically expecting you to sleep with a client for a deal.

Whedonite kerry accused her bosses of prostitution her for the business despite her willingly sleeping with the client. She's also threatening to sue them despite her breaking into the factory and destroying the place

And you seem to be keen that she's absolved of any responsibility for her behaviour.

Then why didn't She admit this? Why is she claiming her bosses prostituted her to a client for a deal? She willingly slept with him, then had a fit when he treated her like an ons, and abused him. She got rightfully fired, after which she blamed her bosses for it all.

I just can't get over how stupid Rishi and Jai are. I know it's for plot purposes but even so this is taking the biscuit.

Makes you wonder how Rishi ever managed to get a business off the ground in the first place if he's this much of a pushover.

Stuart Blackburn is staggeringly untalented in all aspects of drama. He has no vision or skill but such a massive ego he even feels proud of reducing quality drama to infantile drivel. He's done so much damage to British soaps.

I agree with all the other comments about Kerry, and how they ruined her character
When she first appeared, she was a simple, tarty, common but basically good hearted woman
Now she is a coarse, manipulative, promiscuous, vulgar character who has ruined every chance she's been given
She's at the end of the road re character development
They've tried everything with her, there's nowhere for her character to go
The viewers are tired of her, they don't care about her
When will the producers end it all with a prison sentence, or diabetic coma?

Did he invent Kerry in the first place?

More of the same tonight... that scene where Jai was trying to tip Kerry out of her wheelchair was ludicrous.

There's filler then there's this.

Emmerdale has been the pits these last couple weeks. Was everyone so invested in their big week the writers, producers etc forgot about the rest of the year?
