US country singer Holly Dunn, probably best known for the song "Daddy's Hands", has died from cancer aged 59.

I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of the wonderfully talented Holly Dunn.

In August 2005, Holly Dunn graciously submitted a quote about Gene Watson, which I was proud to add to my Gene Watson-dedicated website, which is run by me on a not-for-profit basis.

A genuine talent, with an instantly recognisable voice and style all her own, Holly Dunn will be sorely missed by all of us who enjoy and appreciate real country music.

"Are You Ever Going To Love Me", "Only When I Love", and "Love Someone Like Me" are my most favorite songs from her.
