I am giving Hollyoaks till the end of the week, unless something amazingly impressive happens I think that is me done with it.

I know that Hollyoaks isn't exactly highbrow viewing but jesus christ absolutely everything is telegraphed and painfully obvious.

With the addition of these new characters (I'm pre-empting the fact that Goldies kids are going to be terrible) it really is getting to the point it is unwatchable.

The straw that broke the camels back for mewas the Cameron and Celine.

It has 3 episodes to pull it back.

Marnie's mum is played by the fabulous and young looking Linda Gray aka Sue Ellen Ewing from 'Dallas' but she is 76. Lysette Anthony who plays Marnie is 53.
