EE - Jay, his conviction and the social
So social workers have to assess when he might have been living with Janet and William but it's perfectly acceptable for him to live with Louise who is a yr younger than the girl he had indecent photos and a relationship with.
In fact Louise must now be the age Star was it all happened How on earth has this not been addressed on screen |

Because quite simply they want the viewers to pretend this storyline never happened.
Of course they will always mention it for fear of criticism, but the actual implications such as social workers and Jay having to give his address details to the police seems to be conveniently left out of the storyline. Now we'll see Jay go back to living at Phils as if nothing ever happened. He'll be back working at the arches no doubt soon and he'll go back to being a bit part character in the background. |
