I tried my Three USIM in a Nokia 3220 it came up rejected, and also a Nokia 1100 and it also gave the same message. I then tried my Vodafone SIM into my three phone and it worked fine. Why is this??

you used to be able but this is agint the terms and condtions of threes service so they trck down if people are doing it they send a new sim that will only work in a 3g handset . now they give these restricted usims as standard

the reason is because it costs them more money for your call as you use the o2 network

Usims and Sims are completely different. The USIM is a new breed of simcard designed for use in 3G handsets only!
