Are they leading to a Jimmy and Bernice affair? As they have had a quite a few scenes recently and they seem to be confiding in each other and supporting each other. I hope not as I do like Jimmy and Nicola together,

With the way Emmerdale has been destroying established couples lately, nothing would surprise me.

Jimmy and Nicola have been through so much together that they are pretty much rock solid under all the bickering and squabbling.

And Bernice is mooning over Andy - so it would make a mockery of that as well.

I read an article that said that it would all be a misunderstanding and Nicola would jump to the conclusion of them having an affair but that Bernice was just helping Jimmy with something.

To be fair, Bernice and Jimmy have always had a really close friendship and there's been many a time I've assumed they would get closer, but I think it works better with them being good friends.
