Absolute garbage lineup. For a show with this many views to consistently serve us the same dross is a joke. We're not expecting A lists, just give us some characters or people of interest. Usually there's at least 1 or 2 that surface like Van Day, Pat Sharp, Lady C. This year there's none whatsoever. They get rid of reality contestants yet replace them with Jordan Banjo .

Its ashame they didn't get Tulisa or Craig Charles because they would have really added some interest. Its pointless having a high level of production without any substance. Like a tasty loaf packed with cheap meat, sold as 'premium'..

David Van Day and Pat Sharp were boh late entrant and Lady C was a major exception to the usual IAC world.

Usually they get on for the first few days before the hunger sets in and they get p!ssed off with each other. Craig Charles who you've identified was a nice bloke; but I'd say would hardly set the jungle alight in terms of being an out there character.

Give it time - we've only seen 2 days (roll eyes smilie)

I agree pretty poor line-up, I've never heard of half of them. The Australian crew have probably not heard of any of them.

Exactly, with Celebrity being such a key word in the title of the show and it being on itv with the ratings it gets you would expect them to get some bigger names.

big names mean bugger all, and I personally didn't see anything special about Craig Charles

This

I doubt anyone would've thought David van Day, David Emmauel and Jan Leeming for example would've had made such an impact on where respective or been as popular as they were.

And this is what makes the world such a wonderful place to live in - The differences between us all. If everyone thought the same, christ it would be boring

I personally think that this is a fantastic line up, and quite possibly the best one to date. I don't want to be watching Pat Sharpe, that creature Lady C, or some no-body who once released a shit pop song in the 80's.

Diversity (no pun intended as Jordan is in there) is the spice of life

I'm with Re_hashed, I think this is the strongest line up for years - no reality "stars" and no vacuous models. Great!

Totally agree, it's a good line up and with Danny Baker & Martin Roberts joining soon it'll be better

I would imagine Danny won't take any fools lightly

I've been looking forward to Danny going in, I like him.

It's my favourite line-up in a long while.

Not sure why people are on such a downer.

Not all of us want brain dead gobshites who ruin a reality show by making it all about them, last series of CBB had enough of that, with that Bear creature.

They're 3 days into the series, it's going to take time for them to properly get going, I quite like the light humoured approach so far.

LOL yes, but they don't fit the previous molds - Lisa was described as a TV presenter, I didn't realise she'd done modelling as well (not heard of her before) and I don't really class Gogglebox as a reality show, as it's not scripted. Only slight differences perhaps, but at least there are differences! (IMO of course)

This is the first time in years that I am watching, and it's purely down to the cast. There's nobody causing drama for the sake of column inches (such as Lady C) or being antagonistic to make sure they are getting their share of the screen time.

I'd rather see arguments occur naturally (which is why I can't watch CBB anymore either).

I disagree, I think this is the best cast in years! I hated last year with all the division, Lady C, Yvette and Tony were awful to watch. This year I wanted some more lighthearted characters and so far they have delivered. I have laughed my head off at the first two episodes which is just what the doctor ordered.

It's a bit too meh so far.

Little House On the Prairie comes to mind.

Totally agree. I hate the way the Towie and Geordie shore twonks seem to have invaded our screens lately so the line up for I'm a Celeb this year is a breath of reality TV free air

Another one to disagree with the OP. I think it is a very strong lineup. No acting up to the cameras or faux fighting to get column inches. Not sure anyone will be hogging the trials either unlike previous years. Scarlett is proving ppl wrong in their assumptions she was going to be the token reality "star". Can see her and Carol doing well

Lisa is not a reality tv product. She's had a successful career as a model, a tv presenter, and, in more recent times, as an (award-winning) radio presenter. Google is your friend.

It always intrigues me how this forum is generally opposite

This forums likes a line up and the more wider public would pan it and vice versa

Time this show was axed its the same thing over and over . Boring
Awful line up . The desperate awful vordermen that awful emmerdale guy . No thanks

Ego talks do trail eat a bug here comes food its not you its you repeat yawn
And get athletes in to do trials . What's the point .and how are they famous

My point is not about lack of arguments but lack of interesting characters. Sure its early days but this lot seems worryingly devoid of anything interesting. Why would anyone want to see Scarlatt Moffatt or Jordan Banjo eating worms?. CBB def needs toning down but at least theres usually somethin interesting happening throughout.

Maybe I'm being too critical but lets face it IMAC hasn't been good since the Shaun Ryder/Mckeith series. Since then the series has been dominated by the likes of Dougie pointer, Joey essex, Vicky pattison. An awful winner is the cherry on top..

Dont forget ..some people are easy to please, they will like anyone in the jungle, just to have something to watch, whilst most of us, who are not so
Easily entertained will say what a boreing line up, and program is the same old drivel,
You will say why watch then ? Well we are allowed to give a view, so happy watching if you love it
