According to th Daily Mail, so take it with a pinch of salt.

Either way, ive never been able to warm go Giovanni and I can well believe he is arrogant and rude. He comes over that way all the time. I had hoped Id warm to him this year but it's not happened. That performance the other week put me right off him even more! Someone on here said it was like a DWTS audition, maybe we could do a swap and have either Artem or Gleb return in his place.

So well informed is that "source", they think the show will be "wrapped later this month".

It was pretty obvious when Laura did her leaving speech with that tacked on 'oh and thanks Giovanni' at the end that they weren't exactly best friends forever. I don't think DWTS would want Giovanni TBH. If it's true though that Laura was reluctant to film those awful pre dance VTs then good for her

Totally seconded!

Poor Laura, I bet she wishes she'd never signed up Strictly. I wonder which toe rag fed this made up rubbish to the press?

Make a nice change from the dead horse flogged showmance angle.

Poor Laura had a very stop starty time. Just getting over the whole paired with Giovanni problems and then does her leg in. I imagine it was frustrating for both of them. Pro's do tend to get a bit testy if they feel shortchanged on the training hours and Laura was one of the celebs still doing a day job as well as carrying a wound.

This may or may not be true but something definitely went sour between them. Immediately after her exit she unfollowed him on Twitter and Instagram, then followed him again on Twitter, at least, after their Monday exit interview. Then again unfollowed him.

She knew that would be noticed for sure.

Irrespective of the source...........Giovanni is an annoying pro.....give Gorka more air time please!! Funny because last year I found his stumbling over pronunciation, and cheeky smile quite charming, but this year I have found his mouth smiles and his eyes dont!!

However, on both Saturday's airing and Sunday's show, it was absolutely clear that something was wrong between them, I commented on it at the time to my hubbie......Laura looked like she was struggling to smile, like she didn't want to be with Giovanni at all.....in fact she seemed relieved when they were voted out and visibly relaxed for their last dance.

They're out and I've forgotten about them already but their body language over the weekend spoke volumes.

While I really don't like those clips, they've been there for a good few years now, so she should've known what she was getting into. (If this is true, of course.)

I've never liked Giovanni and his smirky, slappable face.

Like all tabloid stories - I think take the content with a 'grain of salt'
It was particularly tough on Laura to have all the lies written about her and Gio and the supposed 'fall-out' with Georgia.

SCD is a little strange this year - maybe there are too many celebs who are too good too soon or - the judges scores have been suspect at times certainly
IMO

How do you even notice something like that?

I've wondered how people find out as well - do they count the number of followers each day or is there an easier way? That is a rhetorical question as, keen follower of social media accounts as I am, that level of micro analysis makes my brain hurt

the judges need to stop worrying about getting a Clifton in the final by whatever means, and start marking in accordance with the performance.

do I like the Cliftons ..no, should there be three professionals on SCD from the same family...no. are the judges biased in their markings ..yes.

about time the show was given a total revamp and stop this ridiculous marking in favour of a judges favourite.

since when was it ok to have a celebrity who works with one of the judges and all of a sudden develops wonderful ballet arms Darcey🤔🤔

I think there was one VT we didn't get to see where she was in a harness having to do some sort of trampelling stuff - presumably for jive bounce? which is the week her ankle was crooked ... so if it was connected with that it's pretty understandable.

Hey, we appreciate you cant stand or walk without pain, but just jump up and down on this for a bit and look happy <thumbs up>

Oh good grief! Do we really need to turn this into yet another Clifton bashing thread?

How on earth did this thread go from Laura and Giovanni falling out to Cliftons?

Anyhow, it was most likely a lovers' squarrel...
