I know it's awful to say but I feel exactly the same! Something sleazy / weaselly about him. I took agin almost instantly.
If he stays next year what the BBC do with him in regards to a partner? Do they give him the female version of Daniel O'Donnell or a young partner again for more tabloid headlines. I do think they will would like to keep him though. |

Long time lurker, first time poster, hello everyone!
![]() I liked Laura, she was putting in the effort and trying to learn to dance - that is really what Strictly is all about... but her partnership with Giovanni wasn't good. He showcased himself too much and left her in the lurch during their salsa. Wouldn't really surprise me if there were more then a few arguments going on between the two... But this 'bully' stuff is a load of rubbish! No-one would put up with that! Ridiculous "journalism" by the Daily Mail... It'll be tomorrow's chip paper anyhow! If she doesn't come back for the final, where all the couples come back for the one-off intro thingy they do every year... maybe then we can speculate they hated each other with a passion as it's said here... until then it's just more tosh... from the Fail rags... Why do they throw someone under the bus every year? It was Susanna Reid a few years ago & that was horrible to watch... it's a light entertainment show fgs. |

Yes they did throw her under the bus. Hope these bullying claims are cleared up soon. |

According to th Daily Mail, so take it with a pinch of salt.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...e-Dancing.html Either way, ive never been able to warm go Giovanni and I can well believe he is arrogant and rude. He comes over that way all the time. I had hoped Id warm to him this year but it's not happened. That performance the other week put me right off him even more! Someone on here said it was like a DWTS audition, maybe we could do a swap and have either Artem or Gleb return . |

BIB - I don't think Giovanni is going any where, US is not going to take him. I would love to have Artem back. Love Gleb, we know he will never come back.

All these stories about fake news on Facebook yet The Sun and the Daily Mail are the biggest culprits of it.

I don't understand the hate for the Cliftons. I think Kevin always seems to come up with good dances and seems to get on well with his partners. I think Karen had a difficult partner this year with Will Young so hard to say what she is like and Joanne seems ok and seems to be nice to Ore

I don't understand why you have revived a thread which had dropped off the first page by posting about the Cliftons. This thread had nothing to do with them.

Any accusation about Giovanni being rude would probably disappear soon enough. Accusations published in the Daily Mail about Laura being a 'bully' 'abusive' and a 'nasty piece of work' would almost certainly stick.
She'll turn up to the final regardless of whether there's truth to it or not because she'll be contractually obliged to and she's never struck me as anything less than a professional. As for Laura, sadly a return to the I'm A Celebrity spin off might be the best she can hope for. |

Juicy story!
The Daily Mail (might have been the Sunday edition) did an inside Strictly exclusive a few weeks ago and the reporter claimed no-one on the show liked Laura. (They also claimed no-one liked Ed Balls and at the end of practice no-one would invite him to a pub). But back to Laura... the reporter claimed she was aloof and felt superior. The reporter referred to her as "Little known tv presenter"

Chances are she didn't but can't be sure either way. |

The Daily Mail may do an 'Ed Balls was disliked' item if/when Ed is knocked out!
Sending bullying texts would be evidence she was being horrible. If you just say it to his face he can't prove it but if he kept the texts, she is guilty! Avoid bullying texts, folks.

Didn't Giovanni showboat in their last dance? He did a great twirl to end the dance and Len made a slightly negative comment about it. It looked as if Giovanni was saying "I'm the pro, not you, Laura, I'll show you how to dance!"
He was very impressive but then he is a pro so you'd expect him to be good! |

I don't think she gelled with Gio at all and I think it was sneaky of TPTB putting them together anyway when Laura was slightly friendly with Georgia May . |
