Oh I think both Jordan's were sacked from the show - probably because their personalities were too big to accept the changes that were taking place. Looking back it's amazing Brendan has held on but I think he was able to change his approach whilst the Jordan's couldn't.

I think they allowed Ola to jump rather than be pushed, probably as she was more popular than James. That or why make it difficult for themselves when it was clear Ola was not invested in the show anymore anyway?

She will be earning good money as will he when he does CBB. I can't berate anyone for that. I can't even get worked up over the Ann Summers thing. I think it's tacky for sure considering how talented they are in the dance world but fair enough.

I agree with this, and would like to add, that I started to dislike James when he tried to spill the beans on how badly treated they were on Strictly, how scripted it is etc, and threw other cast members utb to prove how right he was. I didnt like him using his friends from the show to boost his own ego.

Ola also got a bit of a reputation with his partner Steve Backshall, and James publicly calling Steve out on twitter for not coming to Ola's defense was not cool, either.

Ola and Karen had a well publicised up. James and Kevin got involved and it made thinks awkward behind the scenes. Recently this spilled over to Twitter. I've always said there was jealousy towards Kevin from James due to the attention he got in his first series.

Strangely Ola and Joanne seem to get along very well. Jo even tweeted her to say she missed her.

Would it not be a factor Ola Jordan suffered a very bad knee injury, which would surely have restricted her ability to dance, especially at her age . They were on a long time did a good job and moved on, now Ola is cashing in. If her husband gives his opinion I don't see any wrong in that.

If you'd been paying attention, you'd have noticed that Ola recovered from her injury and was able to return for the next series of Strictly, so no it has not restricted her ability to dance.

Her husband "giving his opinion" is the main reason why they are no longer part of Strictly. Sometimes discretion in offering opinions is advisable - something James appears not yet to have learned.

I miss the days of the bad boys (answering back, sneaking lifts + getting told off, oh and James producing 'filthy' Rumbas. I must be evil but it added spice, cringing at their remarks and knowing the relevant judge would retaliate.

Ageism/misogyny where all I do is call as I see, clearly you have never had a cruciate ligament restructure, in real terms she has a new knee, if it doesn't affect her ability to dance she is superhuman and the recovery process is harder at 34 than 24, that is just the human body.

Whether they wanted to carry on doing Strictly I don't know, they had probably come to the end of their useful time but they are cashing in now and good luck to them. They had a decent innings and played pretty well.

Then there must be a lot of superhuman people in the dance world. I know of one wonderful guy who had both knees replaced in his 50s, then continued dancing and competing to a high level. He then had both hips replaced in his early 70s - and recovered enough to carry on dancing. To anyone who asked how he recovered so quickly he would tell them it's a case of 'mind over matter'.

Now in his 80s he still dances at least 4 times a week.
