My OVO bill has a QR code on it which apparently allows me to compare energy tariffs between different companies. The problem is that I can't find an app that works on a Windows phone. Any suggestions?

I'm surprised a search for 'QR' in the Store doesn't find anything. I used to use RedLaser.

Plenty of QR code readers but not one linked to an energy saving site.

I used what seems to be the default one and all it comes up with is 'no matches found'.

Ok, I get it now. Yes you may struggle to find something like the Uswitch app for Windows Phone. It surely down to poor app support, particularly in the U.K. It's one of the reasons I moved from WP to iOS a few years ago.

Do you have a tablet?

After a lot of Googling I've discovered that Nokia Lumia owners were moaning about this in 2014, yet uSwitch still hasn't got round to sreating a Windows app. How poor is that?

p.s. No, I don't have a tablet, but how would that help?

Uswitch are even less likely to release a Windows app, so don't hold your breath.

If you had an Apple or Android tablet or phone you could run the app from there.
