I stopped reading at bewitched, what a badly researched article... bewitcheds first four singles all went to number one for a start...

Not that hard to get this kind of thing right

The guy who writes those articles is one of the worst on Digitalspy. He did a similar best girl groups of all time article a few months back and it was so biased towards the acts he likes and catty towards others.

Also Girls Aloud formed in 2002 towards the end of that year as they were competing for the Xmas No.1 that year not 2001.

But agree with the OP about the error with the number ones that B*Witched had as they broke the record that Gerry And The Pacemakers, Frankie Goes To Hollywood and Jive Bunny jointly held which was having their first 4 songs go to No.1 (the others I mentioned had their first 3 go to No.1).

Edit: Actually B*Witched entered the charts at No.1 with their first four singles (rather than climbed to the top) which is the record they hold

Their articles on anything have become increasingly biased and catty.

Why are fifth harmony in it with two top ten singles? Surely eternal, bananarama, the cheeky girls, Mel and Kim, the 411, bellefire and many more have had more success than that (I did pick a few silly bands on purpose )

Doubt it - they wouldn't have made such an obvious error, more likely some middle aged heterosexual man.

He wouldn't have been able to make a catty comment about Fifth Harmony if he didn't include them.

Lewis Corner is the author of that article, say no more. He's useless.
