To quote various judges 'this is so hard' (though actually it isn't) and 'you shouldn't be here' (which is probably true)

You both improved in the dance off. A sharper, cleaner performance from Nicola. A more relaxed performance from Rylan with a better tango face..

But I have to save the couple who gave a stronger performance,

I save Nicola & Anton.
StrictlyEastend
30-11-2016
Thank you Ethan, that is 1-0 for Nicola so far, other judges, you have 3 MINUTES left to save someone or I'll just go by your scores.

30-11-2016
I know I might be a bit biased here, but I'm saving my favourite; Rylan & Joanne
StrictlyEastend

Right Julie and Nicolas's votes to save are:-

JULIE: Rylan and Joanne
NICOLAS: Nicola and Anton.

It is a tie!

I'll just go on random.org to determine who will be head judge.

02-12-2016
Hello and Welcome to Strictly: Glitz Into The Ballroom Series 2 Week 6 1980s Week

Our judges are:-

Riley (RileyHollyoaks)
John (JohnStannard)
Izzie (IzzieStar)
East (StrictlyEastend)

Our first couple tonight are Liam Payne and Chloe Hewitt.
StrictlyEastend
02-12-2016
Liam and Chloe are dancing an Argentine Tango to “Like A Prayer” by Madonna

Scores:-
Riley- 8
John- 8
Izzie- 9
East- 9

Total = 34/40

John's Comments:- That was great, really intense, great story all the way though just watch the precision in some of your kicks were a bit dodgy but well done though.

And uniquely a rare sight for this game, A SET OF SCORES THAT MAKE SENSE!

34 is Liam and Chloe's highest score but Will Charlene White and Neil Jones get their highest scores this week?
StrictlyEastend
02-12-2016
Charlene and Neil will Samba to “Conga” by Gloria Estefan

Scores:-
Riley- 8
John- 9
Izzie- 7
East- 9

Total = 33/40

East's Comments:-
You got the party started Charlene, you were loose and fancy free, you really looked like you enjoyed yourself, and I did too, it was your best performance to date.

33 out of 40 is Charlene's highest score by a country mile, and despite Izzie's 7, she is ecstatic.

Next up will be Hillary Clinton and Pasha Kovalev, will their Salsa to a Rick Astley song impress the judges?
StrictlyEastend
02-12-2016
Hillary and Pasha Salsa to “Never Gonna Give You Up” by Rick Astley

Scores:-
Riley- 1
John- 6
Izzie- 4
East- 5

Total = 16/40

John's Comments:- I like the fact your never gonna give up but maybe its best since you’re not improving & I think your gonna be in the dance off.

Hillary is very upset about getting her lowest score to date, and at this point in the competition, it could be trouble, Larry Lamb and Karen Clifton are hoping to impress the judges with their Quickstep, will they?
StrictlyEastend
02-12-2016
Larry and Karen dance a Quickstep to “Take On Me” by A-ha

Scores:-
Riley- 4
John- 5
Izzie- 7
East- 6

Total = 22/40

Izzie's Comments:- Larry, you are definitely a Ballroom boy. Okay, the posture wasn’t always quite there, but the footwork and commitment to performance were brilliant. The name says it all – it’s a quick dance and your footwork didn’t let up throughout.

Izzie and myself enjoyed it, Riley and John didn't that much so the scores in an odd way, balanced out in the end, 22, Larry says, he is happy with as he struggled in training and in the rehearsals.

Hoping to set the world ablaze with their Argentine Tango are Katy Perry and Aljaz Skorjanec.
StrictlyEastend
02-12-2016
Katy and Aljaz dance an Argentine Tango to “Here Comes The Rain Again” by Eurythmics.

Scores:-
Riley- 9
John- 8
Izzie- 9
East- 10

Total = 36/40

Izzie's Comments:- Utterly hypnotic. This dance was dark and passionate and I can confidently say it won’t be raining on you tonight. With the lifts you do need to ensure that the magic isn’t broken and the flow of the dance continues, but the intricacy of this dance was on point.

Katy squeels with delight at the scores and even though the audience boo John's 8, she says “Come on Guys, an 8 is a great score” and it certainly is in comparison to what some other couples get.

Up next are Rylan and Joanne Clifton with a Samba.
StrictlyEastend
02-12-2016
Rylan and Joanne Clifton are going to dance a Samba to “Funky Town” by Lipps Inc

Scores:-
Riley- 6
John- 7
Izzie- 6
East- 3

Total = 22/40

Izzie's Comments:- A psychedelic festival of campness. Technique was out the window at times, but your effort and ability to sell a dance are irresistible.*

Despite the 3 from myself, Rylan is glad that he got 22 (again). Up next are Yvette Cooper and Gorka Marquez.
StrictlyEastend
02-12-2016
Yvette Cooper and Gorka Marquez Salsa to “You Spin Me Round (Like A Record)” by Dead Or Alive

Scores:-
Riley- 6
John- 8
Izzie- 5
East- 4

Total = 23/40

Riley's Comments:- Yvette, you're better than you think. You may not think you are that good but when you go out there you deliver! Not your best tonight but not your worst either, I still loved it.

A very mixed bag of scores there for Yvette and Gorka but so far, puts them somewhere in the middle of the leaderboard, and as we all know, that can be a dangerous position to be in.

Hoping to do better are Pksparkxx Dathottness and Natalie Lowe.
StrictlyEastend
02-12-2016
Pksparkxx Dathottness and Natalie Lowe dance a Tango to “Billie Jean” by Michael Jackson

Scores:-
Riley- 7
John- 7
Izzie- 7
East- 7

Total = 28/40

East's Comments:-
Pksparkxx, you are so entertaining, the bit where you attempted a Moonwalk especially so, in all seriousness though, the content was there, difficult choreography but what was lacking was drama and aggression but it was a joy to watch.

Just, wow at those scores!

But will Natasha Raskin and AJ Pritchard's Scores be just as “Wow”?
StrictlyEastend
02-12-2016
Natasha and AJ dance a Jive to “Karma Chameleon” by Culture Club

Scores:-
Riley- 4
John- 9
Izzie- 5
East- 7

Total = 25/40

Riley's Comments:-
This wasn't your finest hour.. Stumpy, stompy - you were like a clonky donkey out there, not good.

A very interesting set of scores there.

Our final couple tonight are Tom Daley and Oti Mabuse.
StrictlyEastend
02-12-2016
Tom and Oti dance a Tango to “Every Breath You Take” by The Police

Scores:-
Riley- 8
John- 9
Izzie- 8
East- 10

Total = 35/40

Riley's Comments:- Tom, you had so much anger during that performance, which was key. Your facial expressions are exquisite throughout and I feel you could be the dark horse of this competition.

That is Tom's highest scores to date.

Let's have a look at the leaderboard:-
