Larry and Karen will dance a Rumba to “Kiss The Girl” From The Little Mermaid

Scores:-
East- 2
Izzie- 2
John- 7
Ethan- 5

Total = 16/40

Izzie's Comments:- MY EYES. Poor Kevin.

Yes poor Kevin but Poor Larry, that is his lowest score to date.

Next up are Tom Daley and Oti Mabuse

Tom and Oti will dance a Foxtrot to “Everybody Wants To Be A Cat (First Minute of it or so)” From The Aristocats

Scores:-
East- 8
Izzie- 8
John- 9
Ethan- 8

Total = 33/40

Ethan's Comments:- Everybody wants to be a cat and I never resist the opportunity to be catty. And all I can say is that this dance was a disaster as my claws are retracted and you’ve got me purring. You were smooth, you were graceful and you certainly landed on your feet with this routine. There was a tiny moment when you lost finesse and looked little a bit like you had fleas, but overall Tom, a performance of aristocatic standards.*

Tom and Oti Purr with delight at those scores.

But will Katy Perry and Aljaz Skorjanec have anything to purr about with their scores.

Katy and Aljaz dance a Samba to “I Just Can't Wait To Be King” From The Lion King

Scores:-
East- 10
Izzie- 9
John- 9
Ethan- 10

Total = 38/40

Ethan's Comments:- This really was the mane event tonight and if anyone hasn’t enjoyed this, you two shouldn’t take it lion down as this really was a roaring success. Katy you should take pride in your samba rolls and I don’t think you’ll need to prey for survival this week. Perhaps there was a very slight drop in energy towards the end – and no wonder, that was extraordinary – but I think only your gender stops you from being King of the Ballroom Beasts tonight.*

Katy equals her highest score and equals the highest score so far this series!

How will Charlene White and Neil Jones do?

Charlene and Neil dance an American Smooth to “Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo” From Cinderella

Scores:-
East- 9
Izzie- 7
John- 8
Ethan- 6

Total = 30/40
John's Comments:- That was brilliant, everything needed in a classy American smooth, your thumb was sticking up on occasion and the dismount in lifts looked ugly.*

A mixed bag of scores there from the judges but at least Charlene didn't take a tumble in the scores. How will Hillary Clinton and Pasha Kovalev do in their Charleston?

Hillary and Pasha dance a Charleston to “Dig A Little Deeper” From The Princess And The Frog

Scores:-
East- 7
Izzie- 6
John- 6
Ethan- 8

Total = 27/40

John's Comments:- Oh dear you struggled to keep up, timing issues it was littered with those and it wasn’t anything like the characterisation of the Charleston.

Despite John's comments, Hillary gets one of her best scores, will that be enough to avoid the dance off? Next up are Natasha Raskin and AJ Pritchard, they will be dancing a Waltz.

Natasha Raskin and AJ Pritchard dance a Waltz to “I See The Light” From Tangled

Scores:-
East- 8
Izzie- 8
John- 8
Ethan- 6

Total = 30/40

East's Comments:- Well Natasha, I see the light for you for next week, However, you did get a bit Tangled in the Footwork department, don't boo for heavens sake, I liked it overall, it was elegant and graceful, a charming performance.

Despite Ethan giving a 6, Natasha is delighted as those 8's help her to get her highest score to date! Will Yvette Cooper and Gorka Marquez get a similar fate?

Yvette and Gorka dance a Quickstep to “Be Our Guest” From Beauty And The Beast

Scores:-
East- 8
Izzie- 7
John- 9
Ethan- 7

Total = 31/40

Izzie's Comments:- I don’t whether it’s relief that you aren’t Mrs Potts, or an actual breakthrough, but I think this may be your best dance yet. Quite the Belle of the Ballroom.

Well, I believe that to be Yvette's highest score, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Finally tonight are Liam Payne and Chloe Hewitt.

Liam and Chloe dance a Salsa to “Why Should I Worry” From Oliver and Company

Scores:-
East- 10
Izzie- 9
John- 8
Ethan- 9

Total = 36/40

East's Comments:- Liam, you have improved so much in this competition, tonight was no exception, it was sensational.

36 is one of his highest scores and the audience goes wild.

With that, let's have a look at Tonight's Leaderboard.

I was surprised by how well the songs suited the dances, song choices are often a bit rubbish in theme weeks on Strictly. It looks like you put a lot more thought into your choices.
