Natasha and AJ and Liam and Chloe

Yvette and Gorka and Larry and Karen, one of you is safe, the other will join Hillary and Pasha in the dance off. The couple in the dance off are:-
StrictlyEastend
08-12-2016
Larry and Karen

That does mean, however, that Yvette and Gorka are through to next week.

Judges, the dance off is HILLARY VS LARRY, who do you want to save?

You have until 19:30 to save.

you're the weakest dancers neither of you will win and its a shame this week isn't a double elimination and we cant get rid of both of you but by a whisker of a more confident performance I save Larry& Karen
StrictlyEastend
08-12-2016
Thank you John, we're not going to have any double eliminations in this game.

That is 1-0 to Larry but I don't expect Larry to have a lead for very long.

I've just forgotten I'm a judge!

It's a no brainer to me, I'm saving the TECHNICALLY more accurate and MORE ENTERTAINING couple, I save HILLARY AND PASHA.

That is 1 all so far.

Hillary I thought you did a great job and I'm shocked to see you in the bottom 2. Larry your dance will stay in my memory for a long time. I'm going to save the stronger dancer who produced their dance with more style and accuracy and never once caused me to look away in horror.

I save Hillary & Pasha.
StrictlyEastend
08-12-2016
Thanks Ethan.

2-1 for Hillary.

Thanks to Nick and John for sending in their scores and comments, I am just waiting for Ethan and Riley to send theirs in, NO WORRIES GUYS, YOU HAVE GOT UNTIL SATURDAY AT 8PM, HOWEVER, ideally, I'd like them in sooner.

I need to try and remember to actually be here for the bottom 2 from now on. Sorry East.

I would have saved Hillary based on those two performances though.

Hello and Welcome to Strictly: Glitz Into The Ballroom Series 2 Week 9.

Here are our wonderful judges:-

John (JonhnStannard)
Nick (winter99)
Ethan (EthanE)
Riley (RileyHollyoaks)

Our first couple tonight are Hillary Clinton and Pasha Kovalev.
StrictlyEastend
09-12-2016
Hillary and Pasha dance a Foxtrot to “Grace Kelly” by MIKA

Scores:-
John- 7
Nick- 8
Ethan- 5
Riley- 2

Total = 22/40

Nick's Comments:-
A stunning dance, beautiful with plenty of choreography and technique - You really are shaping up to be one of the greatest dancers throughout history.*

Riley's Comments:- After Katy's you can't even compare this. Hold out of place and you both looked very uncomfortable throughout; I'm sorry but I didn't like it.

What an unusual score Hillary had there. Somehow, I can't see 22 being towards the top of the leaderboard but can Liam Payne and Chloe Hewitt reach the top?
StrictlyEastend
09-12-2016
Liam Payne and Chloe Hewitt Quickstep to “You Can't Hurry Love” by The Supremes

Scores:-
John- 9
Nick- 8
Ethan- 8
Riley- 8

Total = 33/40

John's Comments:-
That was faster than a bullet train compact full of great steps done terrifically what more does a guy need?

Nick's Comments:-
Great energy thorough the dance, really lively, really enjoyable, could improve your footwork as you were out of synch with Chloe and the music throughout the dance but still a great dance to watch.*

33 is a good score and it seems both Liam and Tom keep changing each others marks each week!

Next up is Natasha Raskin and AJ Pritchard.
StrictlyEastend
09-12-2016
Natasha Raskin and AJ Pritchard dance a Rumba to “Halo” by Beyonce

Scores:-
John- 10
Nick- 6
Ethan- 4
Riley- 4

Total = 24/40

Ethan's Comments:- No offence but that was like watching my mum get off with my best mate. Natasha I can see you did your best with this, it's not your fault AJ looks like he'd get ID'd if you took him to a 15. Straighter legs would help if you have to do this again and this isn't ballroom so I don't want to see heel leads but I also didn't want to see you rub your body in AJ's face. Without a doubt your most memorable dance but not for the right reasons.

John's Comments:- I loved it you’re a contender and you're best dance to date! 10

After those scores and comments, Natasha needs a lie down and I for one, am not surprised!

Next up is Charlene White and Neil Jones.
StrictlyEastend
09-12-2016
Charlene and Neil dance a Charleston to “This Is What You Came For” by Calvin Harris feat. Rihanna

Scores:-
John- 7
Nick- 7
Ethan- 5
Riley- 9

Total = 28/40

Riley's Comments:- YES CHARLENE!!!! Your best dance, I loved it!*

John's Comments:-
This was your worst dance and really didn’t suit you& I think your in potential danger.

A mixed bag of scores there for Charlene, how will Tom Daley and Oti Mabuse do?
StrictlyEastend
09-12-2016
Tom Daley and Oti Mabuse dance a Viennese Waltz to “It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year” by Kylie Minogue

Scores:-
John- 10
Nick- 9
Ethan- 9
Riley- 9

Total = 37/40

Ethan's Comments:-
You dived right into this one Tom and let me tell you, it was no belly flop. You lost a bit of balance a bit when you came out of those turns so you need to work more on spotting but you got back into the dance quickly and I'd get dizzy too if I was dancing with Oti. I'm not sure this was the Most Wonderful Time of the Year but it might be your most wonderful dance of the series.

Nick's Comments:-
Loved it, emotional, passionate, great technique & lovely pivots, well done.*

That is Tom's highest score of the series so far and everyone is giving him a lift!

Our penultimate couple are Yvette Cooper and Gorka Marquez.
StrictlyEastend
09-12-2016
Yvette Cooper and Gorka Marquez dance a Cha Cha Cha to “Try Everything” by Shakira

Scores:-
John- 9
Nick- 7
Ethan- 6
Riley- 6

Total = 28/40

Ethan's Comments:- Your timing was more suspect than a guy with lipstick on his collar and a secret phone and your legs were about as straight as Bruno Tonioli but your bottom was incredible! I was almost hypnotised. How do you even do that? You can have an extra point just for that. It's not going to be a great score Yvette but for the bottom alone I can only say fabul-ass!

Nick's Comments:- This was a really fun dance, Gorka's choreography was great to watch, especially loved your costumes - You'll be hopping into next no doubt! Well done the pair of you's!*

A total mixed bag of scores there, what will happen for our Final couple tonight, Katy Perry and Aljaz Skorjanec?
StrictlyEastend
09-12-2016
Katy Perry and Aljaz Skorjanec dance a Foxtrot to “Can't Take My Eyes Off You” by Andy Williams

Scores:-
John- 9
Nick- 8
Ethan- 10
Riley- 10

Total = 37/40

Riley's Comments:- Graceful, elegant, beautiful - absolutely stunning.

Ethan's Comments:- You brought a lovely quality of innocence to this Katy - I can hardly believe you've kissed a boy, never mind a girl. Your dancing was exquisite, your storytelling was very good, your partnership with Aljaz really is working well and I could happily not take my eyes off you all night. You're a fox and you definitely weren't trotting, you glided across that floor. Outstanding.

37 is the joint highest score of the evening, which, very nicely leads us up to TONIGHT'S LEADERBOARD:-
StrictlyEastend
09-12-2016
LEADERBOARD:-

1st- Tom Daley and Oti Mabuse = 37 (7 judges points)

At least it wasn't one of the worst ones but don't do it again please.

You must have seen it, you put smileys after it.

But I promise I won't do it again.
