Adam Barlow is a fantastic addition I must admit. I'm actually enjoying Sarah and Garreh. Thieving little Faye (the actress has really improved). Phelan is also great but I'm finding the Maria storyline ridiculous and tedious.
Adam will take a pop at every pretty bird in the street and try to copy his late father. He will forget all about the life he built up in Canada and squeeze into Ken's overcrowded home, and probably work at the factory to be engrossed in edge of your seat storylines such as factory orders and dodgy clients.
Maria will whine whine whine, Caz will be caught, allowing Maria to be released and move on with her life, leaving the Weatherfield plod to accuse another innocent soul of murder based on little evidence.
Phelan will smirk, scheme, lie to the dozy Eileen, smirk more and sneer. After further recycling and milking of this plot he will either be killed off or packed off to prison, with Eileen asking herself how she could be so stupid to fall for his lies.
I think that about sums it up.

The only reason Phelan will go to jail is for assault if Adam tries to pop his Eileen. He can pop every other good looking woman on the street but not his beloved Eileen.

For me I'm finding it all ridiculous at the minute. David walking around after burning Anna, the police literally just let it go. Maria being arrested for murder while Caz is walking about showing her face, ridiculous. Michael going on and on about Phelan when it just makes me laugh, Eileen was quick in dumping Michael for Phelan and now he's back with Gail he's suddenly obsessed with the bloke, it's only cause he's leaving its stupid. The new Barlows don't interest me at all. The Leanne and Michelle baby storyline is getting on my nerves. It's obvious Michelle will leave Steve and end up with Robert. I'm bored of it all to be honest. I only watch it to keep up with it and hope it gets better. But even though it's slightly improved since Blackburn left, I still think it's got a long way to go yet!

Doesn't apply though cos it would never have happened!!
The most she ever got from Blackburn was a stalker s/l that finished with no conclusion or consequences whatsoever (much like most of Blackburn's storylines) & a sham marriage s/l that lasted a week & was never spoken of again!!
Oh I forgot to mention a 'romance' that appeared once about every five weeks & never had any opportunities to go anywhere!!
Whatever you think of the current s/l & I agree it has it's faults, at least KO has made the effort to show some consequences & acknowledgement of Blackburn's previous messes with Maria!!
The Caz s/l would be excellent had they just taken more time over thinking out the
details!!
