Can we just appreciate what great presenters Ant and Dec are?

I just love their little in between sections and jokes, love them.

This show would be nothing without them.

the scripted bits can be good, I don't think much of their ad-libbing in tasks though, the campmates always seem much funnier

I don't like them and the show would survive without them, everyones replaceable and they aren't bigger than the show. Their supposed humour isn't funny and is extremely immature

I actually fast forward through all their links. Can't stand either of them.

The humour isn't working this year the Aussie crew are not laughing back as they don't get the jokes in reference to these people

I've heard the crew laughing

In any case they have done away with the usual reality TV rejects thankfully.

How would the aussies have heard of the likes of joey Essex and Vicky in any case?

They are not as funny as they were in the past

Must be getting old

the crew laughing always seemed a bit fake to me though, like having an audience of 10 Carol Vordermans, I think they only laughed sincerely at the stereotypical Aussie jokes

I like them but not the favouritism they've shown for two years running now. Many of us were fed up with Vicky monopolising screen time and surprise surprise its here we go again. They cant helpthe editing but they dont have to add to it by the constant laughing atwhat Scarlett was saying and madam last year. They annoyed me last series with their bias in other areas as well surrounding Lady C

This gets to me too.

There's definitely been more taps on the shoulder by the producers the last couple of years. It started with Joey and Amy in 2013 and it's very obvious with the new Chosen One this year already

Their links, quips and jokes are quite fun.

Yes I remember the washing machine gag being really funny ...might have been last series but I can't remember what it was!!

We were having a chat about this at work and not one of us had a good word to say about them. Totally over-exposed and having little natural talent other than gurning, better suited to kids tv as that is the level of their immature fans.

Theyre hilarious!! I look forward to their banter, it's the looks they give each other as well! 😊

Probably are hilarious if you're in primary school.
As I said earlier as both of them are very immature for middle aged men kids tv would be more suited.
They aren't in any way funny, they have just never grown up, imagine having them 2 living near by - creepy or what.

Theyre being criticised this morning about the Stephen Hawking bit last night. I must admit that I thought it was a bit distasteful.

I agree with others, they are ok but I'm sure the show would survive with a couple of other presenters, so long as they didn't choose any of those on the ITV2 spin off

I find their scripted "joke" segments to be like bad am dram - you can tell they are acting and the punchline is always delivered badly.

My Canadian wife is puzzled by them. Having lived most of her life in Canada, she'd never heard of them before and can't understand why they seem to be everywhere and what a big deal they are over here. I have to agree. They're not bad presenters but not great either.

Someone else writes their awful jokes. Always puzzles me that people say that they are hilarious with their "scripted banter"

I would rather see less of them and more of the campmates also the little recaps and what's next montages before and after every ad break are very tedious and totally unnecessary.

I agree that Ant and Dec are great presenters. They really do have that certain something when presenting. Just like the first poster, I love the jokey talks they have. It's one of the reasons why I watch this show. I like seeing how the celebrities interact with each other, but Ant and Dec's jokey talks are quite amusing.

Love them, the show wouldn't be the same without them and I would not watch if they were replaced

I suppose I find all sorts of humour funny, not being a comedy snob!!

Just because I can't stand a couple blokes who still think they're 14 doesn't make me a snob.

Everybody has different opinions, no need to insult people who have a different one to yours. I never called you a comedy snob, I simply said that I wasn't one as I like a very wide range of comedy.
