Nope, I don't get the fascination over her.

I thought I would dislike her but I don't and she is quite funny at times. The one thing in her favour is she far better than that dreadful Vicki. She was shoved down our throats last year and they tried to turn her into a presenter but she just doesn't have it.

Just found out on last night show that she's 26! I thought she was about 19 the childish way she acts. Why is she so immature?

I find her odd looking and as thick as two short planks.
But if the general public take her to their hearts (?) and
think she is wonderful, then who am I to question that?
Apparently she has had Bel's Palsy since she was 11 years old after being knocked over by a car and she is struggling in the jungle with facial paralysis. She cannot completely close one of her eyes.

I've just read it on my phone, I think it's a Daily Mirror story. Sorry I can't do cut and paste.

Hmm, a sob story if you believe it. It's in the media so it must be true.

No doubt 'Keeping Up with the Moffatt' is already pencilled into ITV2's Spring 2017 schedule.

She shouldn't even be in there. I'm sure it says "Celebrity" in the title of the programme and she certainly isn't one?

All she's known for is being in a programme about people watching television and making comments about the programmes they're watching. If that's all you need to do to be some sort of "celebrity" then everyone on here is.

And now they've already put out a 'sob story' about her as well.

She had appeared for several years on a top rated tv show so I personally think she has as much right to call herself a celebrity as plenty of others who are on this year and in orevious years.

As far as the 'sob story' is concerned, she can't control what the media print.

Personally I have like her on Googlebox, yes sometimes she can say some things that make her appear a bit dense but equally she can be very clever and insightful in what she says too.

In terms of the jungle I think she is coming across as a good camp mate. Up for everything, doesn't take herself too seriously, doesn't have a big ego, gets on with everyone and yes I find some of the things she says make me laugh in a good way.

Totally agree. Personally I find her quite charming. I hope she's there until the end - although I think it'll be a King of the Jungle winner this year.

I cannot abide Danny Baker! They're really forcing him (and Voderman) down our throats!

I do like Mr Grumpy as well!

Would she speak highly of you - of course she would actually need to know who you are. whereas you know of her, are you that attractive and stunning that you can slag off anyones appearance. Post your pic and let us all judge if or not you are odd looking.

I often wonder re Scarlett and George and the other 'young' Gogglebox-ers; what do they do outside of Gogglebox? I was quite shocked to hear Scarlett say that she watches television for a living! I had assumed (stupidly, I suppose) that they had day jobs - at least they must have had before they were Gogglebox-ers. Dom and your woman, for example, run a B&B, don't they? I thought that was the whole attraction. 'Normal' people - like you and I - watching TV and reacting.

Dom and Steph do run a B&B, and that B&B is worth approx 3 million - hardly makes them normal. The attraction for me, Gogglebox is a cross section of society and their opinions

Still doesn't answer my question about what Scarlett does - or did - other than watch TV.

By the way - lots of 'normal' businesspeople have assets that are worth a lot of money. It still means they have to get up in the morning and earn a living, though. Quite 'normal' for many.

FGS just google scarlett - she is a disability adviser for students - quite simple really, google answers a lot of questions if you take the time to do it. Dom and Steph are multi millionaires who hire staff to run their business - again google would be helpful to you if you bother to use it, they are hardly hands on in their business. What they do is hire good people to run their business, whilst they live their lives as they want to. So your - By the way lots of normal business people etc comment - is rubbish. You tried to be patronising and that was a fail.

I tried to be patronising? Are we now not allowed to ask a question without being told to Google the answer? It's a discussion about the programme, in which Scarlett herself said "I watch TV for a living".

Don't you know google is the centre of our universe? Hey, why bother studying and researching reliable sources when we can just 'google it'? I don't know why we never thought about it before

Discussion fora are redundant, really, now that we have Google. Should we let the mods know?

It's so false of them IMO, they are trying to push her as the winner.
She is from Newcastle I believe. As are Ant and Dec. A case of looking after your own.
